Anyone else here love chinese food? What's your favorite meal?

General Tso's Chicken is the ultimate meal for me. Seriously, I could eat it every day with getting sick of it.

Yep I love Chinese food as well--my favorites are cashew chicken, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, egg drop soup and especially crab rangoon. Oh yeah and fried rice and lo mein noodles. Ok, I'll stop there.

Bring on some Wonton Soup and an egg roll for me! I also love Orange Beef, Lemon Chicken, Coconut Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Chicken - the list goes "on and on and on." For me, one of the best thing about Chinese food is that it's available for take out seven days a week and it's open on holidays when all the other restaurants are closed. The menu is pretty much the same world wide - maybe everywhere but CHINA. Chinese Restaurants rule, man!

Usually I like the chicken dishes, but only if the chicken is in thin slices.

Heh- I bought XXX rated fortune cookies in Chinatown...I'm saving them, will post 'em when I remember to bring 'em to work....

I love shrimp in garlic sauce! And anything w/ cashews...I used to order nothing but egg foo young when I was a kid...But I think I prefer Thai food over Chinese - phad thai w/ shrimp - mix together the hot mustard and sweet and sour and dump it on! Yum!

What do Jews do on Xmas? Eat Chinese food and go to the movies!!

A friend of mine bought some of those in San Fran - they sucked....we saved them for New Year's Eve....it's become a tradition that every New Year's Eve my brother in law and two friends cook this huge Chinese feast...and we all eat and have a blast...well this year we all thought we'd spice things up with the XXX fortune cookies....quite a disapointment...I hope the ones you got are better than our were...!

As for Chinese food, I LOVE it....I'm excited to be in a city that actually offers good varieties of it, there was no good place to get it in my hometown...

My favorites: Egg Drop Soup, Egg Rolls and Sweet & Sour Chicken (sauce on the side)

One thing I'll say about Chinese, I even like the leftovers after they've been in the fridge.

Livia & Cliffdweller, I used to live right near Chinatown restaurant. Ever been there? I like that place.

My daughter and I love chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce. She likes the white rice, while I prefer the Young Chow (sometimes called House Special) fried rice. My husband usually gets the spicier stuff. We also love crab rangoon and beef sticks. Yummy.....
But our favorite asian food would be japanese steakhouses. There's a fabulous one in Clearwater, FL, which is actually where we'll be eating tonight (leaving for vaca. at noon). Their sauces are to die for!

I love Japanese food, especially sushi. It doesn't have the same heavy feel of Chinese food.
