What is "pondering the millenium"?
A mini tour by Stevie Nicks performed just before/after 2000. The tour was called "Pondering The Millenium" and featured performances in small, intimate venues, like the House Of Blues.

RAL for me. The peak of the '80s tackiness and the peak of SN's disturbing vocals. A stirring mix, especially highlighted on that butcher of a video from Red Rocks.

Enchanted. I loved the acoustic part of the set and the mix of hits and rarities.

Interestingly, the Millenium shows were the last time Stevie performed anything from OSOTM - she did "Rooms on Fire" and "Whole Lotta Trouble". Didn't she do "Talk To Me" as well or has that not been in a set since 94?
Damn it, woman sort your setlists out.

I have to vote for the "Enchanted Tour". By 1998, I was SO TIRED of hearing the SAME songs done OVER and OVER in a Stevie Nicks set list. Never in a million years did I think Stevie would perform "Sleeping Angel", "Rose Garden", "After the Glitter Fades", "Gold and Braid", "Enchanted", "Garbo" and "Twisted" in the same set list. It was THE TOUR I'd been waiting for! Besides, any tour set list that would DROP the tired "No Spoken Word" from the set was a welcome relief (why was this song played on SO MANY tours anyway?).
A CLOSE SECOND for me is that absolute TRAINWRECK that is the "Rock A Little Tour". Girl, this was like watching a bad traffic accident, but it was DELICIOUSLY FUN!! I witnessed two dates on this tour and Stevie was FRIED both times. LOVE IT! Her vocals were pure EXORCISM !!

"No Spoken Word" was dropped on the Street Angel tour after the first handful of shows.
It's weird to think that NSW was ever considered to be a tour-bore, I'd kill for her to add it back in these days!

Wild Heart Tour, it's the last tour with amazing Edge performances imo, I love the RAL Tour but after a month the performances got messy vocal and ad-lib wise. (Plus she dropped GDW and Sara) but it's a close second. Bella Donna Tour is amazing as well.
But honestly her first 3 solo tours are the same shows with a few songs from each album sprinkled in sparatically
Enchanted is amazing because of the set list.

I sort of feel the same, After The Glitter Fades Fades and Gold And Braid were included on the 1981 tour, Enchanted and Gold And Braid were played on Wild Heart a total of probably 4 or 5 times.

Wow! This thread is so old it stops after TISL...and probably rightfully so.
I chose "Wild Heart" because it was my first, and she was crazy on stage yet still sounded flawless!
Although my two runner ups would be "Enchanted" and "TISL".
"Enchanted" because of the eclectic set list ("Sleeping Angel", "After The Glitter Fades", etc) and because it's the LAST time she attempted to hit the high notes on most of the recurring songs in her set. I remember being blown away that she kept on with those high wails at the end of the song "Enchanted".
"TISL" because it was my first front row experience and she singled me out twice, and even grabbed my hand!
But it is still the "Wild Heart" tour that has me! :D

I would have LOVED to have seen this tour live!!! I geek out over all the YouTube videos of it all the time!

The Wild Heart tour was like Bella Donna except that Stevie was drunk half the time. She seemed drunk way more than coked out at that time, for some reason. I have mixed feelings about that tour because it was the first time the drugs and alcohol really negatively affected her performances on a consistent basis. And unfortunately it would be far from her last.

I voted for Wild Heart. Mainly because it was my first concert. But it also was the last solo tour of the beautiful and fun Stevie before things got out of control. Plus she had most of her rocking Bella Donna backing band too.

You hit the nail on the head. The RAL tour was out of control and her voice was shot. Wild Heart was the first time drugs and alcohol were affecting her live performance. Some songs she could nail perfectly almost like from the prior tour. But she was losing control of her life during this time. It was not blatent but losing control. I was 13 and could sense Stevie was out of it. Everyone knew Joe Walsh was drunk, stoned, and coked out of his mind. Those 2 touring together as boyfriend and girlfriend really fueled a crazy tour. Stevie was still a knock out beauty so she could get away with things that later she could not. The live versions of Gold Dust Woman on this tour and 1981 are the best live versions of GDW ever. So dark, so raw, and Benmont Tench on keyboards!!!!! Stevie's convulsions at the end were pretty cool too
