Denver Concert goers!

Hey guys! I am trying to organize a get-together before the concert. Either at the venue or for dinner. I will have the Fan Club's penguin that we need to have pictures of with the fans! If you aren't familiar with them, they are 3 stuffed penguins that have been going to all the concerts and at the end they are going to be presented to John McVie. I will have SHP and BC (Second Hand Pot "Penguin On Tour") and Beautiful Child. POT unfortunately will be in Iowa and can't join us.

I think you posted this on the wrong board :laugh: I'm just praying if the band ever does find out about this or get the slide show from this "Penguin On Tour", they don't think it had anything to do with this Penguin website. :shocked:

I guess I don't understand why you say that. I think it was a great idea and a lot of fun. It doesn't have anything to do with which "board" it is from...just fans having a good time!

I posted it because it's never been discussed on this board, most of the fans here don't know anything about and were never invited to participate in the POT tour. In addition you originally posted it having something to do with the fanclub and as far as I know, this was something put together by the fans at Mick's site and had nothing to do with the fanclub.

BTW - many/most fans here are banned from Mick's site and have never been allowed back in after they were thrown out last year. Many of the fans who post here are not welcome there and nothing has been done to try to rectify that by Mick's management after Jonathan Todd treated Fleetwood Mac's fans so poorly last year.

I'm glad it's fun for you and the fans who are involved in it from Mick's site are having a good time. It has nothing to do with the Penguin site and since all the band members know about and respect the Penguin site I was saying I hope they don't think this Penguin On Tour thing has anything to do with this site.

My tickets just arrived, one small problem however, they sent the wrong tickets! Why oh why am I not surprised??? The lady I spoke with at FanFire said she will give my problem to a manager and they will call me about it. "When" I ask, "well hopefully tomorrow" she says :shocked: . Hmmmmm, I'll believe it when the phone rings. Just check your tickets everyone.... The bad thing about it, my seats are worse than the ones they told me I was getting!

James - these are not your GREAT seats are they??? Oh I would cry! Let us know what they say. I have not been too happy with the fan club. I got better seats thru a presale with a local radio station - and I got my tix a week after I ordered them. This taking to the last min., never emailing me where my seats where ( I had to call several times), ignoring my emails, etc. is wrong and now sending you the wrong seats?

I tried to cancel mine last week and they said they'd call back and never did. All I can say is I better not have 2 tix tomorrow!

Not to rain on your day, but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if you did receive your FanClub tickets. Have you heard the story of my Jones Beach tickets? If not, let me know and I'll tell you. Thankfully, they were not my Front Row tickets, if they were, I think I would be shaking to much to even write this! Gosh, I can't believe how fast the time is flying now! I am SO ready for Sunday night, I can taste it! Its going to be the BEST! I'll be sure to let you know what they have to say, if anything!

FanFire never called, I should read cards for a living! LOL! I had to call them. Of course, ALL managers were on lunch. That's a great idea isn't it??? I think they are on lunch seven hours out of eight down there! Anyway, the lady I spoke to was fairly nice. She offered me four backstage passes for the mixup. There were no other tickets available for me. So GREAT! Then, ring a ding ding. Sorry, no more backstage passes available either :shocked: ! OK, I'm done. So they gave me a partial refund and I'm stuck with the wrong tickets. Money makes it all better I guess? But, it is also better than nothing.

I never got my calendar...which is really funny if I think about it!

It's still business as usual there, many of the same fans who terrorized us last year are still giving fans they don't like a hard time and telling them they should be banned from the site. I won't forget that it wasn't only the moderators and Jonathan Todd that wanted the rest of the community thrown out...the great fans there held the door for management as we were thrown out, and they yelled the loudest that we weren't wanted there. Funny how things worked out ;) They spent months and months moaning and groaning about their missing $5 calendar, but we were all wrong for wanting what was promised to us for our $60. I hear the members of the band are still reading the boards there every chance they get, you wouldn't want to miss a moment of that kind of action :laugh:
