I Mick's book, he says he was born in 1947. I'll go with that. :D

At 4 in the morning I flipped on ABC & at that moment they were wishing Mick & others a Happy Birthday. His name was at the top, & it said he was 62. (Whose story are they believing? ;) ) Over My Head played during the segment.

I think I'd trust Mick to know his own birthday. :-P Not sure how many other details to believe in his book, but that one I'll trust is correct!

FM members from oldest to youngest would go Chris (will be 61 in a couple of weeks), John (will be 59 in November), Mick (57 today), Stevie (recently turned 56), Lindsey (will be 55 in October). It annoys me when the press messes up something as simple a a birthday/age.

I think he's 62 - I would trust Mick to lie about his age before anyone else, to be quite honest. And I've heard 60's often...

Me too. Funny though, Mick messed up Lindsey's birthday in his book. Hehe.

Happy Birthday Mick!

Crap, that's right - forgot his b-day was coming up - and that means that exactly one year ago tonight, my friend and I were helping sing "Happy Birthday" to him in Indy.....

...while standing about 10 feet from Lindsey's mic.....
*sigh*

Come to think of it, they messed up his age in the papers last year too - I remember Lindsey picking on him about it.

If you ignore the long beard and hair, he really looks great for his age...almost no wrinkles. The beard and hair have always aged him, IMO, but especially now that they're grey. He'll never trim them, though, he's perpetually re-living The Renaissance. But it suits him.

Love ya, Mick! Happy Birthday to an awesome drummer and the flame that fuels Fleetwood Mac!:woohoo:

Are you implying that there is a flock of little elves that call Mick's face home?

No, just that some people are better at giving wrinkles than getting them.
(And some of us are great at both. )
