Anyone else get really excited when Stevie screams this during Rhiannon? I think Rhiannon kicks ass this tour! The Boston version is so much better then the Dance version.

I am so knocked out by the Rhiannon on Live In Boston...I have listened to it about 80 times! It is one of my favorite Rhiannon's ever!!! I must be hearing something different than those who ranked on it so badly...I can't get enough! I like the mood that the low notes create and the "Welllllllllllllllll I don't think you do!"??!! Faggeddaboudit! :blob1: As Johnny Stew said, Stevie has crafted it into a slow-burner, and I can't think of a better way to describe it. It rocks.

Omigod, I watched LIB on PBS last night and totally wrote down the same thing! (was taking notes). I looove "WWWWIDTYD"!! yes, i got really excited. Also I wished that they didn't take out EOTW for the tour, loved the drums, loved singing along, just a very good concert song.

From the angle they taped it at, it look like she may have lip synced some of the high parts of the song! IM bein serious too! Whach it, towards the end of the song! You'll see it!

I agree this rhiannon is much better than the one on the dance. And it captures more of her letting loose in the song than the dance on does.

Absolutely one of the best Rhiannon's I've seen and much better then The Dance.

So this is another one for the bad grammar books. It would make more sense if she said "Welllllllll I Don't Think You Will" But she does love to just belt that DOOO. So It doesn't bother me.

I've heard a version (either from her solo '98 or '01 tour - I'll have to search around for it and listen) where she says "Welllllll I - don't - think you would" (and kinda spaces it like that)...which makes more sense I guess.

I have noticed a few spots where the editing isn't great. They did film/record this over 2 nights, so I think that's why there's a few moments where the film & sound don't quite match up. Oh well.
I don't care, I love it anyway. And Rhiannon gives me chills this tour & the DVD is no exception (although I really want to see a video of the Buffalo show that I attended when she's yelling "well you still cry out for her, oh yes you still cry out for her, but you still cry out for her, you still cry our for her, WWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLL..." It was an awesome thing to see, I still remember saying "oh my God, look at her go!" There isn't any vid of Buffalo though...)

yeah Paula you know it. We really did get a special Rhiannon in Buffalo. It was such a different ending. But it rocked.

I like her doing that part. :) She could go "Well, I didn't think you will" and it would rock.
Funny coming from a woman who won't say "I ain't waitin'" in the Mirage video.
I'm laughing at her pronounciation in Seven Wonders right now...she runs everything together and it rocks. Heh.

It was one of the first shows of the tour that she really started getting into Rhiannon & adding stuff on the end. And I don't think I've heard her do it that way with that lyric over & over - before or since.
I love it - I just wish the sound was a little better, I couldn't hear exactly what she was saying until I heard the boot.

where were you sitting. The sound was fine in section 106 10th row. I remember saying to myself during the first few Dreams Unwinds parts where it's always slow "Please Go for it Stevie" "Please Go For It" remembering the today show performance which wasn't so hot. And then she tokk the mic back and Started shaking it and SHE DID go for it. She ripped it apart, and it was the best moment of either show for me. For Me Toronto overall was the better show but Rhiannon at least was better in Buffalo.

I was 13th row on Stevie's side in Buffalo & 10th row center in Toronto. And I agree, Toronto was the better show overall.

PS - glad to know I wasn't the only one who noticed the Rhiannon greatness in Buffalo, though.

I say this to myself everytime I am at a show!! Buffalo Rhiannon sounds like it rocked! I love it when she tears Rhiannon up like the old days!

I didn't care much for mildness of The Dance version. I like this tour's version but every time it just jumps to the drums cueing Stevie's Dreams Unwind lines I wish they'd put Lindsey's rocking guitar part back in.

I also don't care for FM doing the piano intro version period. Not sure why...I guess it's because I feel like that's more suited for Stevie's solo shows where she can be more creative in showcasing how the song was originally written.

...and where she has to kill some time for a quick off-stage costume change. ;-)

She tore it up at Hershey too, shaking the mic and she had her hands wrapped in her black rhiannon sleeves when she was holding the mic and whipping her head around, I was in awe! But, of course, I need to go to Camden when its rescheduled just to see if she can top it!

I was front row LB's side for Toronto & I would have to definitely agree that Toronto was a great show :blob2: Buffalo rocked too though! I was row 14 center for Buffalo & the sound, understanding the lyrics & light show are always better from a bit of a distance.

Yeah this time around Rhiannon kicks major monkey ass, but i miss the slow part at the beginning, where its just the singing and the piano...that was very beautiful...

Heck yes! hehe, she was...was she sick when you saw her??? Cause she was on Tuesday, and she cut the concert wayyyy too short for my liking.
