Houston pics!!!

[wondergirl9847]

Here we go....I didn't take as many in Houston, as I was TRYING to enjoy the show...sigh....didn't take any bow photos in Dallas, but my Houston bow is PRICELESS, IMO!!!!!! I've dubbed it The Lindsey Jig...thanks to Jake for bringing it up to me!!! LOL

First up...Fleetwood and Mac. :)

[wondergirl9847]

Prepare for the EEEEE!!!! factor as in #4, he's looking right at me...yes, it's fuzzy and the light is weird, but it was during Goodbye Baby and I think it RAWKS!!!! It will be my wallpaper at some point in time.

[wondergirl9847]

Okay, lemme 'splain the circle. That is a fly that landed on Lindsey's shirt. Notice the sweat soaked shirt? I thought it was comical about the fly...wanted a pic. There is a blurry closeup of the hole in his guitar where the knob is off. Hehe. There's a clearer photo of the guitar hole in some other pic.

[wondergirl9847]

The GDW pics are AWESOME!! I was surprised I got those!! Two of my faves....

[wondergirl9847]

She's a whirling dirvish in the first two....and the last two pics are two of my faves....she looks like she's going to cry in that one!!

[wondergirl9847]

A couple of excellent shots of the two....

[wondergirl9847]

I ADORE this pic...one of my faves!!!! Lindsey Jig!!!!!!!!

[Cour]

Great pictures...the GDW shots are fantastic! I love the one where he's looking at you while he's singing, well done!

That's a new/old top Stevie is wearing in Stevie Houston 3 and 4. Keep bringing out the clothes, Stevie.... we love it:)

In some of the outdoor venues it's werid to see all the bugs flying around Lindsey while he's singing...it looks like one day one of them is going to find a home in his mouth!

[estranged4life]

up yer ass Christy, But that first GDW shot is the best I have seen of any pictures from the SYW tour of the GDW pose at the end...Absolutely perfect.

I second that nomination! The colors you captured are amazing - golds, pinks, blues. I wish you could have been the producer who filmed the "Live in Boston" DVD - it would have had much more atmosphere and depth (instead of all that stupid bright white let's-see-their-wrinkles light). :wavey:

[GypsySorcerer]

Awesome pics, Christy. :woohoo:

Has anyone noticed that Mick always had this same expression during the bows?

Agreed. I want to see the blue shawl one more time. It's probably going to be too hot out there now. Is that top from the Enchanted era?

Thanks so much ya'll!! I love it too!!

I was in shock right after I took that...I was like "OMG, look what I did!!" The battery died in my camera in Dallas, right as my mom was about to take a pic of the GDW pose, I was so bummed, but Houston MORE than made up for that!!

[Cour]

There's at least one or two indoor arenas left so maybe she'll take the blue shawl out for a spin:)

The top is the same (or very very similar to) the pink top she wears for Goodbye Baby (HAEWAFY TISL) but it's in black. It looks to be the same type of sheer slip over as the pink GB one.

[EnchantedSLN]

Wow! Thank you for the photos and reviews. "Stevie - Houston 1 - name.JPG" looks so ethereal. I love the Landslide photo with the nice lens flare effect too. Glad you had fun!

[amber]

OH-MY-GOD- those are a-frickin-mazing!!! My favorite is the stevie-as-a-bat-from-the-back. How did you get those? Seriously, I want to take pics at mine but have never before. Do you have time to write a quick lesson? Camera you used, etc, technique. Geezus!!!! Stellar photographic performance by you!!! What, were you in Lindsey's pocket when you took those????
Amber

[wondergirl9847]

Thanks so much!!

Yes, I was in Lindsey's pocket...GREAT place to be, BTW!!! I'm short enough to be there.

I have a Konica 5.0 Megapixel, 3X optical zoom camera. I love it, it's tiny and easy to use. I took some videos too, and I'll try to get someone to host them or something...perhaps Nancy or Neil...or both or whatever. LOL

I'm a horrible photographer, those photos were God's hands....seriously, because I cannot take great pix. LOL

Technique? Point and shoot. Really, that's all I did, waited for that perfect pose and CLICK!

[amber]

uh, is there a flash involved (I know NOTHING about cameras) and, didn't you have to sneak it in, cause they don't allow cameras, right? How'd you do it?
Amber
P.S. Did you "touch Lindsey's guitar" while you were in his pocket? :] hehe...

[wondergirl9847]

I only used a flash for the Lindsey drinking pic....otherwise, I waited for great lighting. Stevie doesn't like when flashes go off in her face (don't blame her), so I always turned it off for every pic.

In Dallas, they didn't even really check for cameras, I opened my purse and she took a VERY quick glance. In Houston, they wanted me to open my purse, wallet, etc...but they didn't see the camera pouch, THANK GOD!!! Good luck with the pix!!!

LOL!! I DID play his guitar in Dallas. ;)

[jjsigns]

Great pics, Christy! I'm so glad you got some great shots since mine didn't come out. I used a camera just like yours but who knows what happened. Anyway, thanks.

[goldie]

GREAT pics, esp. GDW!!!!!!! In the bow pic, Mick is so tall next to Lindsey that Lindsey has has to wrap his arm around Mick's butt! lol!

[golden braid]

The GDW picture is awesome! I hope my pictures turn out as good next week. :)

[wondergirl9847]

My last LB Houston pics...hope you enjoyed the pics!!! That last one is FREAKY!!!! I don't know what happened or what I did!! LOL

[Les]

Thanks for all the great pictures, Christy! :D

[wondergirl9847]

Woops, sorry about that...too many pix. More blurry ones...

I saved all the best for last, huh? LOL!!

[wondergirl9847]

The one of her and John...is awesome! I love it!!

#13 is cute too, but blurry. :(

[strandinthewind]

Thanks Christy - I LOVE that gold scarf!!!!!!!!!!!

[DownOnRodeo]

Great photos; thanks, Christy!
There just seems to be so much more light on the stage than there was in Australia - was Houston an open-air venue? The natural light would explain it. I don't see why they'd change the actual lighting design at this stage. I like the sort of dappled/starry lighting effect for the GDW poses ;)
And yeah, that last one is rather bizarre :P

[littlelies7]

Great pics! Thanx!

It's an outdoor venue. I always tried to wait for lots of light, so I didn't have to use the flash. Lots of people took pics with a flash, even tho Stevie doesn't like it. Smirnoff and the Cynthia Woods Pavillion are similar.

[wondergirl9847]

As is always said 'round these parts...I see these on Ebay.....someone will get hurt. Thanks :D

:lol::lol:

[skcin]

Awesome pics! I forgot about the gold scarf - it was out in Hershey too.
