I'm undecided still. I've been going back and forth all night. I'll decide by noon tomorrow for sure. We'll see.

Woo hoo. I'm a newbie to the site, but I'll be 2nd row center in Dallas and 6th row center pit in Houston. I'll have my fabulous FM shirt with Stevie twirling, and I'll be the one dancing, singing, and screaming for 2 hours straight. Email me for my pic so that we can say hi!! [email protected]

tomorrow nite (Or so I'm told), Should be interesting to see what happens if it does indeed rain (I'll feel sorry for those on the lawn)

I watched the weather for Dallas this morning and they are calling for a 20% chance of rain. I have 10th row seats so I am not worried about getting wet but it's still a bummer.

It's looking like a 40% chance of rain for Houston where I have lawn seats. :distress:

I hope it doesn't rain, that sucks for lawn peeps. I'll be in Section 100, Row A in Dallas and front row for Houston. We're leaving Fort Worth around 4-5PM.

Does anyone know when the doors are opening? Has anyone called about cameras? If not, I will try to call later today.

The brokers are selling tickets for Row 1 and Row 2 in Dallas, so I guess it's third row. I'm hoping they let the first 3 rows up!!

Yep, I'm a spoiled brat. What else is new.

That's so odd though - usually there are at least 5 or 6 numbered rows in the pit, and then the lettered rows begin - but I don't recall there being a pit at Smirnoff....going to look at venue map now....

Did you get a hotel close to the venue in Houston? I posted on your chit-chat thread, but didn't hear back - when you said you had a hotel in Conroe - I was wondering if that was literally IN Conroe, or close to the venue, and happened to have a Conroe address....

From the Smirnoff site (I don't see any detailed info on rows):

No food, drinks, coolers, lawn chairs, umbrellas, or cameras allowed. The amphitheatre institutes a "No re-entry policy" for all events. Gates into the pavilion open ninety minutes prior to the scheduled performance time. Certain shows may restrict all beer and wine sales at that performers request. Note the clock in the concession stand indicates the time that the sale of alcoholic beverages is scheduled to be discontinued. Events go on as scheduled, rain or shine. If it rains on the day of an event, lawn seat patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket or plastic tarp to sit on.

I called Shmirnoff to find out where my seats were exactly. Since I'm in row B, they said that I'm actually 2nd row. The numbered rows start after B I believe.

Thanks for the welcome. Can't believe I just now found these boards....I've been a super fan for years. I guess finding other fans headed to the concerts tomorrow and Thurs was the impetus for me, though I went twice last year.

Anyway, I graduated from UT about two years ago. Now I work in the big pink domed building downtown.

That stinks if it rains. At Blossom on Sunday they let us bring in chairs, food in bags, and umbrellas (which was a good thing since it poured) for the lawn, oh and water too but no soda since they wanted $4 for a 20 oz that you get at the store for $1.25 and it was luke warm at best. No coolers.

Sorry I didn't respond, it wasn't intentional, I just miss stuff. LOL My hotel is on I-45, in Conroe. It was closer and better (and cheaper. LOL) for me to stay in Conroe. It's less than 20 miles to the venue, so a cab ride will work great.

I hope to meet everyone at the Woodlands at some point!!

Lubbock....now there's your problem. The only thing worse than an Aggie or a Sooner is a RED RAIDER!!

I always thought a Sooner was the worst of the bunch (I love going to Norman on afternoons after the Sooners get sch-lacked, Especially by OSU or my beloved K-State...Almost a similar sound to a Texan cryin', Almost!!!

Reminds of these Dallas "Longhorn lovin'" Disc-jockeys who last fall that had to dress in OU cheerleaders clothes and pump gas in Norman for a day...Talk about cry babies,

Well, you scared me, so I called Smirnoff again, and they confirmed that A is the front row and B is the second. *crosses fingers*

I have front row TOMORROW!?!!?! I pray to God they aren't talking out of their butt!!! I have Section 100, Row A.....but I've been told it's 3rd row!! OMG...I AM DYING HERE!!!!!!! LOL

the only section I recall that had folding chairs for 3 rows was Section 101 (Dead center to the stage.) unlike section 100 & 102.

I called them yesterday, and I know that for row 6, the sections are numbered 1-20, 21-40, and 40-60, but I'm not sure what direction they go in. I'm in seat 30, so I'm smack in the middle either way.

I am in Row 1, seat 28, so I'm in the middle too. Coolness! I was bummed yesterday, just in general, but I'm feeling GREAT today!! I can't believe these are my 7th and 8th shows!! LOL

bummed today because I have been sick the past few days (Thus my humor, Trying to stay up for tomorrow's long drive...Nuthin' personal to any of y'all who are Texans!)

I will probably feel worse on Friday after the Dr's Appt. I have, But at least Debbie's last chemo treatment is on Friday so there is at least that positive.

...but it's only right that you should know: At the Smirnoff in Dallas, the rows in sections 100, 101, & 102 are numbered 1, 2, THEN A, B, C, etc. Row A is third row. I am so absolutely, positively sure about this I would stand on top of a bible factory and swear on the whole entire building!! I've been going to concerts at this venue since it opened in '88. I've seen enough concerts there from great seats in the front I can even tell you that seats 13 & 14 in Section 101 Rows 1, 2, A, & B are dead center. Don't let ANYONE tell you that row A is front row. It's absolutely not true, I promise (I found this out the hard way once when I had row B and thought it was 2nd row instead of 4th-luckily it wasn't for Stevie/Mac though!). Sorry you had your hopes raised only to be taken away, but I would rather you know now than when you get to your seat. :distress:
