Well, my worries are over (for now) as I have received a job offer!

So, I will be moving to Rochester, New York in August..any Rochester area Ledgies out there? I'm a bit nervous about moving to a place where I know absolutely no one...but I'm excited too.

I will be a reporter/program host (All Things Considered) for WXXI radio.

In other news, I met Cokie Roberts yesterday, she was very nice. Then I went upstairs to have lunch and Cokie, Linda Wertheimer and Nina Totenberg were just sitting having lunch together....sooo..I ran downstairs to get my camera (good photo-op there) and when I went back they were gone :(

Anyway...wanted to share the news about the job :D

Yes that's what I've heard from every Rochesterian I've met! ;)

Seriously though....since I'm coming from a place where the seasons range from hot to hotter to well at least it's not Phoenix hot I am looking forward to a place with four seasons...and though I'm sure it'll be quite an adjustment, I'm really looking forward to it!!

I am officially offened...El Paso = skankville haha....just kidding, I might as well be in El Paso, it's only like 30 minutes away...and hey...the weather is the same....I got your drift...

I'm just hoping that I don't end up with seasonal depression because of the long and hard winter...hopefully I'll be amused with the novelty of it for me this first year...I'm looking forward to actually being able to wear a sweater on Chrismtas...woohoo!!

I'll be curious to see how you like the seasons. I hate the snow, but I hope you enjoy it.

The novelty will wear off quickly :) Hopefully you will love your job so much that the winters won't matter!

Ya called on that one  but my older brother who lives in Lubbock sees it my way still

Dallas is fine in my books but I still hate nearly all the Dallas/Houston ( Die Astros, Die )/Texas pro sports teams (Excluding the Texas Rangers baseball team whose best players came from the Oklahoma Redhawks Triple A farm team).
