I'm taking anything broached in these news reports as fair game for this thread.

Duly noted! And I just might use that to my advantage the next time they mar my Mac marathon listening experience with Reagan & Bush mentions.

Wish they'd play the Central Park version.

They played that one earlier. I wasn't sure if I liked it, personally.

Wish they'd play the Central Park version.

That is a great version of GDW.

Ska? Wtf - go away Wide World of Ska Man.
lol

Hmm GYOW - good, I liked the snippet I heard online. I think it will rock more than the Dance.

Wish they'd play the Central Park version.

I believe they did play that one earlier....didn't they....someone confirm!

Edit: Woops, I need to read ALL posts before I post. LOL

Yeah, I didn't care for that version, but they made up for it by playing the Rumours version. :)

GYOW....from Boston!!

Johnny Stew
06-10-2004, 11:19 PM
Sometimes you forget how much you love a song until you hear it playing on the radio... *sighs happily*... "Go Your Own Way." :D

(And this is the 'Live In Boston' version, no less.)

This song is so great live because no matter where you are, the whole audience is singing with them-loud as is evidenced on the boots that have surfaced. It's also time to play Lindsey's guitar! :woohoo:

DownOnRodeo
06-10-2004, 11:21 PM
I just got an image of Christine sitting at her computer in that apartment on the Thames sending lots of emails to play more of her songs, lol. Any other radio broadcast would have way more Chris songs than this has - it's been very Lindsey-heavy!

wondergirl9847
06-10-2004, 11:23 PM
it's been very Lindsey-heavy!

What's wrong with THAT?! LOL

Have they played Why yet?

wondergirl9847
06-10-2004, 11:25 PM

Don't Stop.....again.

Great version.... I hope my DVD comes soon.

Ahh, "Don't Stop"... I don't care what anyone says, I love this song.
Makes me smile every time. :D

06-10-2004, 11:26 PM
Christy - obviously nothing wrong lol, just so damn surprising!
Oh no wait here we go, Don't Stop. ;)

Ah see, for Carne or whoever asked about what guitar Lindsey isn't playing on stage, you can hear in GYOW LIB track just then how really most of the parts are being played by Carlos and Neale etc, Lindsey plays a less frequent, lower-volume guitar line.

I've requested Why and Isn't it Midnight. :( How can they not play Why? That's probably her best song.

I've requested Why and Isn't it Midnight. :( How can they not play Why? That's probably her best song.

It was one of my first thoughts to request, but then I thought about the long, quietish intro and decided it's probably not radio-friendly. That said, they played In the Back of My Mind.

"Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow"

LMAO - more Sea Anenome!!! I thought the music was Sara! lol
"There's a fine specimen right over there!!!"

They were playing blues songs earlier that haven't seen airplay in like 35 years- if ever.

I love the song Why... And I only really discovered it this year, but it's beautiful. That's a song that I could have seen chris doing all through the years on different tours and with the early boots of Stevie and Lindsey on it, they all sound amazing together on it.

DownOnRodeo
06-10-2004, 11:32 PM
These sound effects are straight from Doctor Who! lol

"Well, hope you're no longer fuzzy on what Sea Anenomes now."

SYLM - Maybe that visual I had of Christine was psychic after all, lol.

Do sports results always sound like Chinese to anyone else (except ppl who speak Chinese, lol)? I remember one time in senior I was on assembly duty, but was given the sports report instead of the cultural report - I had to read this sheet of scribbled results and couldn't make any sense of it, it was so embarassing! lol

Hi Tracy! :wavey:
Sorry to hear about your PC... if it makes you feel better, you're not really missing anything. They're actually playing all of these songs from one of those 'The Appalachian Singers Pay Tribute To Fleetwood Mac' CDs. :)

"Caller number 37 (for as many years of FM history) gets the last ticket giveaway. I aint lying - speaking of which, here's Little Lies."

Trivia: - Little Lies uses the same little plucky pentatonic arpeggio as in Gypsy.

"Good grief almighty" lol

They're using the non-vocal Rumours tracks again as background music for talking. What's that, the DVD-A I guess.

wondergirl9847
06-10-2004, 11:49 PM
Little Lies!! My fave Christine Tango song! :D

Joe...I love football and love the Dallas Cowboys, but I agree, hearing sports stuff, facts, trivia, etc...zzzzzz......LOL

I'm a total stereotype, because I don't have an ounce of interest in sports.
Well, ok, expect men's volleyball, when they're playing in the dead of summer and they all have their shirts off, and they're tanned and sweaty, and.........
uhm, what was the question, Senator? :o
