How about some real reviews without getting into the tired "tear Rhiannon apart" conversation....

I'll never tear down Stevie Nicks, she's too awesome!

Hey, this shouldn't be too hard considering I haven't seen the Rhiannon section yet. I have seen from Landslide on so basically it was very good. Lindsey was very energetic lots of guitar pawing jumping around etc, and the SB dance is very amusing, though they could really shorten that intro. Stevie had fun, looked fairly happy and twirled around on SB. Overall a very good concert, and like ppl have said it looked like a concert not a music video. I can't say I noticed a big difference b/t the boradcast and the concert I saw, but as I understood at the time the concert I saw in Oakland was a bit more energetic then others (I would've had no clue Stevie had hip problems at the time). Just a note if you decide to record it allow for the time PBS uses up putting in infomecials, I didn't and therefore I don't have anything after GYOW. As far as singing both did a good job, but not being a singer I really can't comment much on quality.

Why shorten the intro to Stand Back? I think it adds to the song. What are you, in a hurry to be somewhere else? The longer the songs are, the better. I love the way the boys intro I'm So Afraid now.

Geez, manage to post a positive report and I get picked on already?!
No, I am not in a hurry to be somewhere else, I guess it just seems longer on TV then live, although I guess part of me is just like come on start the song, I do love the song, but I'd just rather the intor be shorter or something besides just the drums, just my preferance. I will say though most of the audience was like what the h*ll until the synth or whatever they are kicked in, then of course the crowd exploded... I think ISA is fine, but as I missed that one at the concert I can't give an opinion of it live, but I was really happy to see it on TV.

I believe Tusk57 was referring to the fact that PBS shortened the songs, which they found ridiculous because the audience for the show wasn't going anywhere, they wanted to see the complete songs. :)

I sent an email to my local PBS station to find out the air date, and this is part of their reply:
UNC-TV is aware of the program you requested, but has no current plans to
air it in the near future. However, your program request has been noted
for review by our programming staff.
So I guess I will definitely be buying the DVD (as if there was a chance I might not!).
