I find it kind of sad that Lindsey has a happy ever after and Stevie is still out there single and everything.

If you mean marry, yes.
If you mean live a settled life on the cul-de-sac, hell no. She's a storm. She'll be rocking out the old age home & I'll be right there boogeying as her bedpan is changed by Brittney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

And BTW, nothing inherently sad in being single, even when your ex is not.

I think she will settle down with a man eventually, but like you said, I too will be watching her in the old folks home cafeteria!

I meant be married, it seems as if she has sworn off men for the last time, like maybe she doesn't want a relationship with a man anymore..ever.

She has said she would love to be in love again, and that she knows that prince charming will come knocking on her door eventually...but for now she knows her life is so hectic, most men wouldnt want to deal with that

Her life has always been hectic, to the point it almost killed her, maybe she needs someone who would help her slow down a bit, it's so odd to see her not having a love life, I wonder if she was ever into the groupie thing, okay maybe not

I live in the realm of romantic possibility.

That has to be my favorite Stevie quote, and I think it says it all. She's not actively seeking a relationship, but she's open to finding one.

And spouse or no spouse, I think Stevie already has her happily-ever-after... she has carved out a pretty wonderful life for herself, and it seems that she finds a lot of fulfillment in her music, her family, and her friends.

How do we know she doesn't have a love life? Just because it isn't splashed all over the newspapers doesn't mean she has no love life....

At this point, I don't see her settling down, meaning I don't see her getting married.

Maybe she'll be like Oprah and have a real long term relationship with someone without marriage?

I don't see Stevie ever getting married at this point. I think she is happy being independent and that is fantastic! A woman does not need a man or a love relationship to feel complete or fulfilled and Stevie knows that. I also think the "lost unrequited love" angle is how she creates her best songs. If Stevie was happily married, it would be sort of hard for her to identify with that "tortured soul, forlorn, leaving love up to destiny" thing she has going on in alot of her songs.

It's just like her song goes: Rhiannon without a man is like a goldfish without a ladybug on a bicycle. ;)

I hate to say it but I think many a time she has sabotaged her relationships and always used the excuse that, "it's hard for a man to deal with my lifestyle.." blah blah blah, in order to give herself carte blanche to feel the way she feels and to allow that emotion she's famous for...the heartbreak and pain...to come flowing out from her little pen into those journals because of that whole "lost unrequited love."

"I think I had met my match...he was singing...and undoing..." ;)

From what I've observed, Stevie seems to be very content with the lifestyle she has. Who wouldn't be?

Right On!!!!

Stevie is doing just fine. I don't think she is lonely or sad. If she is dating I think she would keep that info on the DL. Stevie Loves the mystery.

Stevie talks a lot about how hard it is for men being in a relationship with a woman who is 'stronger' than them - maybe stevie thinks no man will ever be good enough for her?!

And I happen to agree. But only coz im selfish.

I doubt that Stevie will get married but hey stranger things have happened. It is better to stay single then to be married and in a bad relationship. I would think that being on the road away from a partner must be difficult.

Isn't Stevie a "wild heart"? ;) I don't see her ever marrying again, but just having various relationships, as she's always had. I agree with Marissa, Stevie lives for drama and has probably, maybe subconciously, sabotaged her relationships, so that her life can have that mystery to it and her songs can be more dramatic.

"Here I am dramatic, here I am, not waiting, here I am not listening to the call of the wild..."

Who says she doesn't have a love life......not quite the same as having a love in her life....LOL!!

Do you think she would ever be involved with a guy significantly younger then her (like let's say a twenty-something)? I just think it would be great if she was like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher! She'd certainly get herself a lot more publicity.
