Isn't anyone excited about the Destiny Rules Documentary being on DVD? It is available for pre-order on FleetwoodMac.com in case anyone didn't know.
AWESOME! Is there a release date available? And do we know of any "additional" footage? ;)

Well the site says it will not be available in stores and will only be for sale on the official website. They also say it and the Live and Boston DVD will ship out June 8th.

FM should know how much the diehard fans loved the extra material on the re-issues and will also add additional behind the scene material on the Boston DVD from the 2003 SYW tour (I have yet to buy a new music this year that did not contain extra/bonus footage. Hell, Steve Vai's AWESOME "Live At The Astoria London" DVD has a ton of extras on the second disc alone whereas the first disc has the 2 hour 20+minute concert footage...)

All Pink Floyd fans got an awesome treat in the Extras section of "David Gilmour Live at Meltdown": the "Spare Digits" section which featured ultra close-up videos of his fingers during all the main solos. Lindsey please take note!!:D

A pop-up window advertising it opens when you go to www.fleetwoodmac.com (you can then click on that and go to a detailed page.)

I just ordered mine... I'm in Canada so the 866 number didn't work up here so I called the Customer Service number which is listed on the HDReady site... and gave my info to the girl that answered and she was going to call in the order for me... So if anyone else has problems from Canada... There is a way to pre-order.
Then she tried to sell me a Tom Petty for an extra $15 which I passed on, but I mentioned that I read that they were the ones doing the PBS Soundstage shows...and she said yes!... I asked about Lindsey's coming on DVD... And she said it hasn't been decided yet... Then I asked when it was airing... And she punched something in her computer and said 9/30 (September 30th)... But PBS could change things...
So this has been a great day!!!... I love it!

September 30th? Man, I hope that is a very inaccurate date for the broadcast...Hell, I just learned that PBS will broadcast a condensed version of the Crossroads Guitar Festival from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas (On June 6) later in the month of June.
Get on the Ball PBS!!!

Hell, for nearly 50 bucks I want them to come to my house, record, and make the sequel
Question...does this mean both DVDs are widescreen???

 For that amount of money, you'd ask Lindsey to flash ya.
I would imagine they are both widescreen. If not, they're going to be returned and I will dispute all charges.

Um. Yes, plz
Do you think this will be released in another format? I really do not want widescreen...it's fine on the enormous TV downstairs but up here in my room? Not so much. My dad refuses to give up that digi cable remote :distress:

No, I don't think that they'll release it in any other format. :( Widescreen is all the rage right now (I find it hysterical to see old ladies in in Circuit City talking about the benefits of widescreen  ), so.... It is better, though, because you can see more of the picture. if it was pan & scan, they might cut off Stevie's left eyeball in favor of Lindsey's elbow.

When I called she answered the phone by saying- "Fleetwood Mac, can I take your order?" As if I was at a McDonalds Drive-Thru! I couldn't believe it!

Doesnt the add for the Live in Boston on the site say there is never before seen footage, is this just because the full concert hasn't been seen yet or because there will be special features, neevr know yet really. I am esctatic about Destiny Rules, hasn't been on in Oz yet, looking forward to finally seeing it.

Have any European fans ordered the combo yet? What number do you need to call? How much are the postage charges and will they ship by air mail?
Thanks!

I don't know about any special features, this is the Mac after all. The "never before seen" footage is simply the entire concert. For the PBS broadcast, they're cutting the show down to two hours, so some stuff will not air.
All I know is that there better be some special features on the DVDs. As a matter of fact, I'm going to call the wretched number and ask.

Is this a rip off or something? I just don't want to give my credit card to someone that is just pulling a scam. Because not only do these people sound unprofessional, they are also not involved with any major company (like fanfire for example).

Well, I just ordered my set.
When I asked the woman if there were indeed bonus tracks, she said, "yes, the entire broadcast is included, plus three bonus tracks"... which leads me to believe that the "bonus tracks" are actually just the songs that won't air on PBS.
But who knows?
Either way, I'm happy... I wanted a professionally filmed document of the tour, and i'm getting one, and I wanted a DVD of the documentary, and I'm getting that too. :D

It's always smart to ask about a company's reputation before you give out your credit card information, but I believe HD Ready is trust-worthy.
I think they just don't usually deal with a huge volume of customers, or they purposely limit the amount of items they're selling at a given time. Which is probably why the Fleetwood Mac DVDs are the only ones on their merchandise page right now, but they're also offering Tom Petty DVDs when you call in your order.

Well, the price is a rip-off, but I don't think the company is.
Always check with the Better Business Bureau before you order anything by phone or on the internet.
