Is anyone going to the Jones Beach show? I am and I'm very excited about it, since I missed them when they came around to that venue the last time. I am going to be meeting up with my friends Kristin, Julie and a bunch of other people. Hopefully even Robin and Laura.... and my friend Kel.
I don't know where my seats are yet, but maybe I'll run in to some of you ledgies. :)

Hi MIchelle~
Girlie...you deserve to have the BEST Jones Beach show ever after the drama of Atlanta. I can't wait for this show...there was no way I would miss it, even though I now live on the other side of the country. It's my favorite venue BY FAR. Oh, and I'm bringing my friend Kate with me to see the Mac. She's going to FREAK out. Can't wait to see you there!!

Yeah I know. It was pretty scary, but I am just glad to be here right now. I agree with you about the venue too. There is just something about the atmosphere that is just so amazing. I can't wait to see you there either... isn't Kate the one that came with us to see Sheryl Crow? Is this her first FM show? Oh I am getting too excited just thinking about it... haha.

Oh man I'm so excited about this show! I haven't been to NYC in a few years, and I can't think of a better reason to fly down than to see Fleetwood Mac! I've never been to Jones Beach before.

Well for me there is no better venue. There is nothing like driving out there during the summer playing FM on the stereo, cruising across the intercoastal, you can smell the ocean driving along the beach, and then off in the distance you see the venue sitting in the water, with the seating rising up behind it. It's the perfect place to see a concert! You will like it. The only bad part is the nasty mess that the humidity leaves your hair in after the show....yes, I'm such a chick.

Jones Beach was the first venue I saw FM live. It was the Behind the Mask tour (no Lindsey - sob!), Squeeze opened for them in the pouring rain, and by the time FM came on, the rain stopped, the cool ocean breeze swept down on us, and it was a wonderful night.
Have fun!

I just went to their website and saw all these pictures, I am REALLY excited now! It'll actually be my first time seeing the ocean, my boyfriend and I plan to get there early and just hang out in the park, dip our feet in the Atlantic, then see La Nicks (and Lindsey and the gang...).
It'll be the most exciting Long Island Railroad trip ever!
