A thread inspired by Marissa Marceau and her new all-black uniform. :)

I wear a tie but no jacket. (Yes, I wear pants, shoes, shirt, etc., wiseasses of the Ledge.)

I was going to say...Jake wears nothin' but a tie and a smile to work ;)

Aww...i've inspired :xoxo: You know, we are now allowed to wear a white shirt if we want. I have a feeling the shirts they were trying to make us buy aren't going to happen... no one is paying up. Tomorrow will probably be all black again but Thursday might be black skirt, white shirt, black strappy heels day

I seem to recall a certain someone smiling  Evidently, it does happen. But, okay, so you only wear the tie ;)

Dress casual (mostly khakis, skirts or dress pants, but I can get away with jeans once in a while.) I love it, but there's always talk around about "should we start wearing uniforms?" NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Our version of business casual means jeans every day! And a nice shirt. Today, however, all the bigwigs from New York are here and we were ordered to play and dress nice, complete with black pants, nice shoes, and fishnet trouser socks. Rowwwwr.

I can wear anything I want to work so some days I wear mini skirts or shorts when it is warm or jeans and a t-shirt or tank top with sandals or tennis shoes. I have even worn one of those velour track suits to work. I am so glad that we dont have to dress up but I do enjoy wearing my finest clothes a couple of times a month.

I wear jeans or riding pants with tee shirts, polo shirts, or turtle necks depending on the weather. I love not having to get dressed up to go to work. :D

Until noon today, I was still in my jammies from the night before. Now I've got on a polo shirt and shorts, no shoes. Did I mention that I'm a writer/researcher and that I work at home? When I do have to go into our corporate office (about 2 hours away) or meet with a client, it's business casual. I usually wear a sweater set and slacks or a skirt or something similar. The great part is that I rarely have to go to the corporate office or meet with a client-maybe once every three months or so. I love my job!

Well..it differs from day to day...if I am going out to interview anyone or going out to cover a story I usually wear nice pants and a nice shirt...business casual type stuff...

when not interviewing...I wear jeans or shorts..and usually am too lazy to do my hair..so a bandana..basically what I'm wearing in the picture thread...not the nice pic of me...but the one on the later pages.. :)

Depends on the day. :D Sometimes I go for some leather pants, other times I just go with a t-shirt, khaki's, and sandals (NOT Birkenstocks and without socks). It all depends on what I'm doing that day.

Jeans, a nice shirt, and whatever shoes. I prefer not to wear open shoes to work as sometimes I have to go into the production area, and it's steel toe required out there. Plus, I don't keep my toe nails painted..... ;)

Before I took an office job, it was an all white uniform, steel toe boots. Sometimes I'd have to get dressed up in an acid suit, complete with airtight breathing helmets..... I did pharmaceutical production, and delt with lots of chemicals. I really miss that job... :distress:

No, they still get some use. However, I've graduated into using cattle prods and, as a nod to Stevie, chiffon tie-ups.

Interesting.

Leather pants in Austin during the summer is just asking for trouble.

And since I live in Austin, and do a lot of walking around campus, I go for cool and comfortable most of the year. I like to wear skirts a lot, comfy sandals, jeans, etc. and like you Dissention, I shun birkenstocks. And since I'm a student and work on campus, I can go as casual as I want.

Well, you know, sometimes looking good overrides being practical. ;)

Leather pants rawk, though. I must have ten pairs; brown, black, stone-washed, red. But you have to know how to wear them to pull them off. I gag when I see people walking down the street with their pants tight on the hips and thighs, but loose on the ass. Always buy them one size smaller than you wear.

Getting in on this a little late...

Since I am a graduate student teaching college freshman and I look a little younger than my advanced age, I tend to dress up for work. I wear skirts and blazers and panty hose and heels and all that. I feel it gives me a sense of authority so that guys don't get the impression I'm someone they don't have to respect just because I'm a little younger. This last week, under a crushing load of papers, I stopped caring and started to wear jeans and T-shirts, with my hair going every which way. They were astonished, lol!
