Maybe this was already discussed, but I just found this article on the web:

Christine McVie collected the award for the legendary album for 'Rumours' from the first-ever Capital Gold Legends Awards which were held on Friday 26th September at the Hilton London Metropole, London, UK

WHat I couldn't find was the year. Was it 2003?
And Chris looks beautiful but thin. And years passed, I can see. Long tours may be difficult for her. But now that I know she is releasing an album, I still don't know whay she is not in the band. Everything I have read to this day abut her departure, I'm not sure if it's true. To me, it is a mistery.

I seem to remember seeing this before - on the board probably. I've only been posting here since August so it was probably 2003...unless the picture was older.

Hi Villavic... yes, that photo was taken in September of 2003.
Christine looks amazing, doesn't she? :D

I can't wait for her new solo album. :)

On September 26, 2003 The first-ever Capital Gold Legends Awards were held at London's Hilton London Metropole. The stars came out in force for the gala dinner auction and awards ceremony. Fleetwood Mac won Legendary album and Christine McVie was there to pick up the award!

She looks a lot like Helen Mirren on that picture!

(edit: found a good picture)

I think Christine does look ALOT like Helen Mirren, especially in that Capital Gold photo. That's the first thing I thought of when that picture was posted last year. I'm not sure what happened with her hands. I've never thought that Chris had abnormally large hands. It must be the camera angle. It's still a beautiful picture of Christine.

Those are what we call "Piano fingers" (or sometimes ET :sorry: ). I've got em too, and have been called both.
I think she looks wonderful for 61(?). We should all look that great at 61.
