So the "double dvd" of the Boston-soundstagetaping is going to be a DVD and Cd of the same thing, according to Marty&Lisa's email I got today. (it's an invitation-email for long-inactive ledgies to come back to the Penguin. Good PR-Action!!! Oh , I got it because I once was unable to get in for a couple of weeks and tried to re-register under the name packin'up, but I've never used it again to log in)

What do we think about that? I would have liked the lindsey soundstage on the second disc, but maybe that's in the works, too.

Seems like the Dance in reverse; less songs for the DVD, more for the cd.

I'd actually be content with just a DVD since I don't use cd players anymore; I only play them on my DVD player. There's no sense in buying a new cd player these days.

Just as long as they take out the perversity of a solo that is in "World Turning" I'm fine with it. Now I'll get to memorize the exact movements they did during the tour. ;)

And someone ought to do LB's Soundstage as BitTorrent, if they're not going to release it. I know they should be making DVDs of every show in the series but who knows...

But it is a nice "all american" package: one for your dvd-set one cd for your car.... Not everybody has dvd in their car

So, when I think of it ( and dream on) Lindsey maybe is going to do the same!!!!

DVD soundstage-chicago with a CD containing the GOS-"leftovers" :blob2:

are going the DVD/CD route since it seems to help sell a DVD by including a bonus disc (Metallica went the reverse route w/St.Anger...The DVD rehearsal of the complete St.Anger album was the bonus for the studio release, too bad the DVD sounds much better!!!)

In the future I see this being a growing trend that won't fade away anytime soon...
