Pick two performers: one for the TV version and one for the big-screen version.

You can borrow Jamie Lynn when she's through with my film...she's part Cuban. Yea, you don't want J-Ho...unless she's going to be an extra...like your 2nd cousin five times removed

Yeah, life would be soooo much simpler if that was the case... It's more like Groundhog Day at the moment.... At work anyway... "Morons, your bus is leaving"... :D
Hey Jake, are you going for the all time number of postings in one day record?

Haven't seen Groundhog Day.
No record here. Today's my last day of break, and I'm spending some time here while I can. The weather's too cool for the pool, I can't eat out until Passover ends tonight, and I'm not letting myself work. I have company arriving in an hour, so you'll have a break from me. :wavey:

I don't know...
I wouldn't choose somembody thinking he looks like me, I'm not the boy next door so..
but I would like (a younger) John Malkovich for the movie version, it would be so exciting!
For the tv version, no doubt. Matthew Perry . Don't know if he looks like me but I feel kind of identified with Chandler Bing, so I guess he could play my life very good.

I really like Kate a lot...she's intelligent, sassy, sophisticated and I really enjoy her films. She's not your typical Hollywood actress and I think that's another reason why I like her. With the exception of Quills, i've yet to see a film where she's played a bad roll (and it wasn't even that she was bad in that, it was just that the movie itself was incredibly strange). So, I think she can do justice to anyone. I was going to say Catherine Zeta Jones because of the height and dark hair but she sort of gets on my nerves
Jamie-Lynn grew up in musical theater and has always loved singing. The character she plays on The Sopranos has a lot in common with her and I suppose I identify with Meadow a lot (my father swears I could play the part). Not that I look 100% like her, but I think she'd make a good me.

Well, let's see...Lowell George & Jerry Garcia are both gone. (they wouldn't work, even if they WERE alive...I'm much younger than the both of 'em)
Maybe Dan Schneider (the fat kid on "Head Of The Class"...if anyone remembers that show) or Oliver Platt.
Nah...on second thought...Bob Seger.

This is funny. My ex and I always used to joke about this, and the big budget action flick would be Keanu Reeves as me, and Vin Diesel as him (low on dialogue, heavy on the, ahem, action). The art house version would be Joaquin Phoenix as me and Javier Bardem as him. Never discussed the TV casting.

This is a rather hilarious topic.
T.V. verison: hmmmm....this is hard because I don't watch a whole hell of a lot of t.v. I guess I would pick (as a pipe dream mind you) Julia Louis Dreyfuss because I think we share similar attitudes and personalities, at least her character on Seinfeld anway. Oh, but she'd have to dye her hair blonde and that would just be wrong.
Film Version: everyone says I look like Drew Barrymore, and I mean EVERYONE so I guess I would have to pick 'ole Drew, we're the same age too, so it all works out nicely.

Jake, you clearly need to move here and become a casting director.
Javier is this hunky Spanish actor. His films include "The Dancer Upstairs", "Before Night Falls", and "Second Skin". Better than Banderas. And way more handsome, IMO.
The Joey Lawrence thing would never work. Homie got no manly man thing going on. B A Green is an interesting choice. I just can't think of the right guy to play opposite. Who plays sultry and burly on tv ? I am trying to think of a younger version of Mitch Pillegi (AD Skinner from X-files).
Come on, Jake, I know you can cast this !
