After listening to the reissues, I wasn't particularly blown away by any of it other than the unreleased studio cuts like "Think About It", "Farmers Daughter", etc. I always liked the live version of 'Farmer's Daughter,' which doesnt sound TOO much different from the Tusk remaster version.
I also realized how great the song "Fireflies" is...did they ever record this in the studio?

yes - the Farmer's Daughter track on the Tusk reissue almost sounds like a different mix from the version on "Live". Fireflies was supposedly a sound check version recorded on stage but only for crew and friends - not sure if it ever made it into the studio. A good song but unremarkable in terms of Stevie's whole career, I think.

I have (or had, don't know if I can find it) a demo or outtake of Fireflies, so I guess that might count as a studio thing. It has the actual lyrical ending that is on Nicksfix.com, "everyone stays, and the fire never fades." I need to go look for that.
