Wow, 103 bucks for this pic. He REALLY wants this photo. LOL

Do Stevie photos go for that much, usually?

4 days left too...yikes. I wanna see how much this one goes for.

Some people do get silly with their bidding! It is a nice picture but that is silly money! And I don't know what gives with the frenzy of bidding.. it just pushes the price up! Always more fun to wait and then outbid in the last seconds! ;)

That is insane!!! That David297483 whatever his name is must be a serious collector of photos or something!!! $103 bucks...maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how it's worth that much...

Okay--I once paid $75 for two tourbooks (Tusk & either OSOTM or RAL--can't remember which was the 2nd of the two). But damn! This guy is out of his tree or really has a lot of money to burn! I went back and checked his feedback--for the links that were still active--they were all FM/Stevie Photos or FM/Stevie related merchandise, mostly pictures. Wonder how long before he figures out that most of the photos on Ebay show up again and again? Oh well, I guess he's doing his part to stimulate the economy! That's the thing about Ebay, it's all too easy to get carried away in the heat of bidding. I always try to set the absolute limit I'm willing to pay for an item and refuse to go over that amount. I've yet to see anything I really wanted not show up again on Ebay.

If the description is accurate and it's really an original photo from the negative, than anything's possible. I've seen some of those candid shots, like Stevie getting out of a limo, etc., go for a lot of dough too. One thing you learn quickly by being an Ebay-aholic (heh), is that some sellers will ALWAYS say something is one-of-a-kind, and they are really mass-produced, and show up over and over again.

And if you think that guy's nuts, check THIS out!

Holy crap! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3804354777&category=210&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1)

Yeah, the old one-of-a-kind crap.

I'm not addicted to Ebay, but I have bought quite alot of stuff, but I try to use common sense when bidding on something. I always ask myself, "Can I get a better deal elsewhere?" and "Do I REALLY need this?"

Although, I did pay quite a bit for a front row ticket to see them in London, so I should just shut my yap. LOL

If she's bare under that "ebay scan" label, then yeah, it's worth it.

Now, I love me some Stevie Nicks... but $103 for a black & white photo?!?

No thank you!

Well, the $800 auction makes the $100 photos look like a real bargain! What the heck are these people doing for a living to be able to throw down $800 at a pop? Are they afraid that these are the last pictures on earth of Stevie and that they must have them or what?

OCD collectors. Completists. I kind of used to be one, then I got a house, pets, a career, a relationship...you know, a LIFE. LOL.

From the ebay auction of the 3d photos:

This is a set of 3D photos which were sold at a benefit concert in 1983 during the Wild Heart Tour. There were only a few of these made specifically for the benefit concert. They are extremely rare. They are in mint condition. Shipping and insurance will be based on the final price. Money Orders only.

Well I didn't attend the benefit concert that year, but I know either myself or my sister has the one three dimensional photo of Stevie where she is shown standing. Maybe rare, but I hardly think they were made specifically for the benefit concert. I'd say they, or at least the one photo were available as tour merchandise on the Wild Heart Tour in '83. No way would I even dream of giving even a fraction of that amount for those photos. BUYER BEWARE!

It's definitely a good photo...but not worth $103.00!! These sellers go nuts sometimes.

Unfortunately, thats what they sell for. About 300-500 a pop. so 800 for 2 is in the ballpark. They don't come up for sale that often. From what I understand they were promos sold only at a few shows on that tour. (yes, I have one, and no I didn't spend that much for it). I have seen them priced as high as 1200 for one, but I am not sure if it ever sold. If you want sticker shock, see what they pay for some Elvis items, or some wines (How about the guy who paid several hundreds of thousands for an old bottle of wine, only to find out it had turned to vinegar). It's their cash to spend, so if they are happy with the price, more power to them. Atleast it went to a good home where someone obviously will treasure it.
