I read once that Capricorns age backwards (so look forward to my ever increasing immaturity, Marissa:wavey: ), so I have an excuse for this.
I'm watching Smallville these days and enjoying it. Yup, a WB show, one that my students are addicted to.
So what are you too old to be doing, but you're enjoying it anyway these days? (Are you hitting the Atlanta pools in your Speedos, Jason? )
Remember, the coolest of all women once said "I have a really teen-aged personality."

I'm not supposed to enjoy watching Arthur on PBS, but I do anyways.
Besides for that, I think I'm too old. It's reflected in the music I like and the fact that I just bought "What's Happening??" on DVD speaks for itself. I can't wait for Fat Albert.

Fabulous...thanks for the warning, sweetie.
Well, evidently i'm the one that's 34 and you're the one that's nearly 21...lol
Honestly, most of my habits make me seem like i'm old. Seriously. Yes, I do still enjoy the drama of Real World and Road Rules on television (because who DOESN'T like drunken debauchery?) and I will admit to having stuffed animals in my bed (DW from Arthur is one of them). I do like to go out but i've never been a party girl and going clubbing is NOT my thing. I'd much rather sit home than be in some small enclosed space with some sweaty gold- necklace-tight-black-shirt-clad losers while dancing to crappy teen music. Kplznthx.

I used to love The Berenstain Bears and just the other day I was flipping through the channels and saw they had their own show and nearly died.
Do I remember Zoobilee Zoo?? OMG YES! That was my show....that and Today's Special and The Elephant show. I used to want to be the Kangaroo because she liked to sing and dance and she had music notes on her outfit...oh, and she was pink..that's very important when you're like, 4.
Do you remember Mapletown??? I seem to be the only person that remembers that show...that was another one of my favorites.

I loved the cockatoo on Zoobilee Zoo and the mayor. :D
And do I remember Mapletown?!?!?! OMG, I used to be so excited for it! I'd rush home after school so that I could catch it on Nickelodeon. Gawd, they had good stuff on Nick back then. They played it right before Inspector Gadget! :D
Do you remember the Adventures of Little Koala? Another fave. The 80s were good. I used to stay up late with my grandmother and watch Miami Vice, too. :p

I? Own Ghostwriter books. I loved that show to death.

Legends of the Hidden Temple was the greatest. I always wanted to be on Double Dare so I could do the obstacle course at the end.
What was the name of that show that Mike O'Malley used to host on Nick? It was a physical challenge-type show, but I can't remember the name.
And does anyone remember SNICK? Every Saturday of my childhood was spent watching that line-up! Clarissa, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Roundhouse, Ren and Stimpy...

I remember a LOT of these shows from when I was young too (although I'm not as old as some of you! ). I distinctly remember watching Eureeka's Castle,The Adventures of Tin Tin, and Land of the Lost when I was really little. Clarissa and the rest of the Snick shows came a little later. By the way, was All That a part of the original Snick? That show was so funny!
And on a slightly more recent note, I still watch Hey Arnold a lot.
By the way, was Legends of the Hidden Temple the one where is you werent careful in the obstacle course (temple  ), the weird, swampy looking green men would catch you? LOL
Oh, thanks for that link too!

I have started watching Japanese anime again religiously, Mainly "Witch Hunter Robin" & "Cowboy Bebop"...Btw, "Robin" attire (Main character of "WHR") reminds me of someone with the same long flowing black "grandma" dress she wears in each episode, But I just can't picture who it is she reminds me of...;)
I have since enjoyed childish shows like "Sagawa-The Chinese Siamese Cat", but I still enjoy classics like "Sesame Street" & "Mister Rogers".

And remember, my dad grew up there.

And does anyone remember Isis? It was a live-action kids show on CBS back in the day (late 70's).
I posted about it before seeing this. It was Shazam & Isis. Shazam used to communicate with the great ancient sages from inside a trailer.
Isis was a hot archaeologist. I even remember the episode where her car was stolen & the thieves painted it yellow, which she liked better."Oh Mighty Isis!"

Never saw the sketch.
My dad graduated Atlantic City High.
My grandparents & the family had seven of the city's nine kosher butcher shops. (Today there are none.)
But I'm NOT really Jersey. My father's mother moved there from Philly, thank you's very much.:)

Thanks Jake--I couldn't remember Shazam's title! I saw a "Where Are They Now" episode on VH1 about a year ago and it turns out that the actress who played Isis is now "retired". She married well and divorced better. She still looked great though. TV & Movies always make being an archaeologist look glamorous--I wanted to be an archaeologist until I had the realization that it's really just a lot of digging around in the dirt!

Fifteen
Land of the Lost
Mr. Wizard's World
Pinwheel
Roundhouse

Yup, she had the donut shop. If you can find Tracey's book called "Tracey Takes On", PICK IT UP IMMEDIATELY!!! it's hysterical and even comes with paper dolls for all of her characters.
Last year she did two HBO specials and she just finished filming a John Waters movie. She's married to Chris Isaak and after she gets hit by a car, she becomes a sex addict.
