Just when you though it couldn't get worse...here comes even more traffic.
TV is constantly being interrupted for reports on traffic and the crowds. I hope I don't get stuck tomorrow.
Predictions? (Patriots)
Results?
Musical Acts? (I'm looking forward to Tyler)
Best Commercials?
And yeah, Deanna, I know...I'm not the biggest football fan either.:wavey:

I am a football fan and I'm goin' to my cousin's house for a SB party/cookout.
I don't know who to root for, since it's not the Cowboys. LOL I guess the Patriots...but yet, the Panthers are the underdogs and I like rootin' for them. Hmmm....I need to pick one.
Musical acts...couldn't really care less. It's been the same people for what, two years now? Nelly, Aerosmith.....again? Well, actually, I am looking forward to Josh Groban singing for the Columbia tribute. He has an AMAZING voice...and I hope he doesn't lip synch, but he probably will, doesn't everyone?
Commercials...no clue. I'll let you know on Monday my faves. LOL

I am not a big football fan but I will be watching because I am a New Englander.:D
I plan on having a party by myself with lots of junk food. You can't believe all of the restaurants having all kinds of Superbowl special platters. Quite expensive too.
I am not too excited about the entertainment or the commercials.
Hey I saw on the news about the Astrodome and about how it once was the 8th wonder and is now just a relic. It is right next to the new Reliant stadium.

I am not a football fan but I live around many of them. I am invited to a Super Bowl Party/Dinner so I will be eating lots of stuff and I guess the New Year's Resolution to eat well gets put on hold for this one day.:)

I don't have a preference between NE and SC.

Are you IN Houston or in the suburbs? At any rate, i'm sure it won't be too fabulous for you if you've got somewhere to go tomorrow. Watch out for bad drivers and be careful...
I could care less who wins but I suppose If I don't say NC, then i'll be killed (<333 Meredith:D). I have no idea who is performing at half time...I thought there was mention of Janet? Or did I make that up?

My first year here I lived maybe two blocks from Reliant. I moved right before its first football game, if I remember.

I'm going to a big party where the hostess is -or rather hires - an amazing cook. It won't be pretty when I'm through.

Results? TOTAL BLOWOUT *knocks on wood repeatedly*
Musical Acts? (Yes, Aerosmith should be awesome, they said it's cool they're playing for the hometown team :D )
Best Commercials? (I don't know. There really haven't been any great, massive memorable ones recently. I'm hoping for something this year.)

WooHoo...one good thing about today though is that the gym will be totally empty so I'm really looking forward to that!!!

Well, to US it's a little far (an hour drive) but to you folks in Texas that is absolutely nothing. Actually, in MA nothing is really "far" unless you are coming to Boston from Dissention's side of the state. But yes, I have been to Brookline.

The Panthers are not based in South Carolina.
They are based in Charlotte. Which is in North Carolina. Sorry, I was born and raised in this city and it irritates me to no end when people think that Charlotte is in South Carolina.
But? The team is Carolina, so technically, it is NC and SC's team.

Yeah well what do expect the show was an Emp T V production. The Drudge radio is all a buzz about the whole thing right now.
The TV news here (New England) is too busy actually reporting about the game and the post game activities.

Justin is saying that the boobage exposure was "not intentional".
So her material just accidently ripped off that easily?
So she just wears pasties underneath her costume b/c they're comfortable?
I mean, I'm wearing 'em now so I guess it's possible.

Ok, why do we need TWO "Carolinas" (or two "Dakotas"...and while we're at it, WEST Virginia & Virginia) anyway...make 'em all one state. So, then we're back to 47 states; making room for Puerto Rico, Guam & the Virgin Islands to become states to bring us back to 50.

It's really sad that I wasn't more shocked by it. That fact alone says a lot about our society today.

Yes an excellent game. I have to give Carolina so much credit. They did so much better than I thought they would last night! Adam Vinatieri is like a local hero now, even though we would have won easily if he didn't miss that simple short field goal in the beginning (DOH!) Otherwise, a great game to watch, right down to the wire. Plus I'm happy because my parents won $400 in a pool.
