This pisses me off. No wonder fans are reluctant to share rare things they have because there is always some moron who will sell it on ebay. I hope this gets pulled

people are really sad when they have to sell something they possibly traded for and/or downloaded...

I did, and I contacted the high bidder, too. He just emailed me back and said he didn't know it was a bootleg, and that it looks like he needs to have a little chat with the seller. That made me feel a little better. :D

Yeah, cause that tracklist just read of exactly what's been available for download from Sara's and others' great sites over the past few weeks.

The person was selling a CD with a bunch of demos that have been available to download recently on different sites. The CD also included Chanel, Chanel which is on http://www.sararhiannon.com right now.

What, were they asking a huge amount of money for it or something? I am not sure I understand the problem, I think I am confused. I know a lot of stuff sold on ebay is not technically "right." But trading "stolen goods" or giving them away for free isn't technically right either. But I love Stevie demos, so the more the merrier! I suck. :( I know Stevie must not be thrilled about it all...

How about those wonderful people who join the fanclubs (FM or anyone else), load up on presale tickets and list them on eBay (a lot of the time before they even physically have the tickets!) for a starting price of 8x the face value?! Boy, they've got it made, dont they?! And all us true fans are left with ****ty tickets. I hate to be so naive and cliche, but it's just not fair! (Sorry...this is my pet peeve of the day because it happened to me with David Bowie today.)

Well a lot of the scalpers got screwed in the UK as most people seemed to get very decent tickets. There were guys selling outside the gigs.. saying first ten rows for sale and I was like... 'I already have front row! Heh)

Oh, hey--I got decent tickets from the FM fan club, too (11th row). But I know many fan club members were not so lucky, and I couldn't even pull up anything on the floor section for David Bowie, and then, an hour later, there they all were on eBay. The fan club ticket access does help , especially given the current (and, unfortunately, probably permenent) state of ticket buying. I'm just saying I'm pissed off at these people who do this (and perhaps even more pissed off at myself when I actually consider buying tikets from them out of desperation!). It's just not cool.:(
