View Full Version : What are your favorite and least favorite days of the week?

When I was little I liked Saturdays and hated Sundays. No doubt children's TV programming influenced my decision.
These days I like Fridays and hate Wednesdays. For one thing, traffic seems to move slower on Wednesdays, I have no idea why that is.

Currently Sunday is my favorite day because it's my only day off...I don't like Monday and Wednesday because I have classes until 9pm and those days seem like forever away from the weekend...

It will be interesting to see how these opinions change after your graduation.
Also, it is a proven fact that Wednesday is always further away from both weekends than Monday ever is. Just ask my head.

Friday is my favorite because I can do school thinking that after I'm done its two whole days of freedom! And I like staying up late on Fridays.
I don't Mondays because you're still trying to get of weekend mode and it makes the day seem very long...

Dislike Tuesdays, and as a kid Saturdays and Sundays (go figure) but now I'm all for weekends.

I like Fridays (start of weekend) and Wednesdays (over the hump). Mondays are the worst. I hate Tuesdays too, because I always have class those days.

Well, I love Saturday, because it is my first day off each week. I hate Mondays, because you are staring a full week right in the face.

I hate Mondays as it is always the start of a new work week and things never run right on that day.
I love Wednesdays as they are my half day and the day I get paid! I love Sundays, too, as they are the only complete day off I have.

When I was in high school, I hated Mondays. Everyone would sit and watch the clock all day long and at most points, it would seem to be at a standstill. In college, I liked Wednesdays because the school actually didn't offer classes during the day so it was essentially closed. Now? Well, I can't say I have a favorite day or a day I hate...they've all been running into each other for the past few weeks so I can't even tell.

I like Saturday and Sunday the best. I have 'my guys' home with me and we get to spend time together...my husband works outdoors, so in the summertime (when he's at his busiest) we hardly ever see him. So we spend our 'quality time' on the weekends in the winter...we'll go to movies, go shopping, watch our son play hockey or just veg out at home. :)

I'm in grad school (communication).... and since I've started college, I think I've had class on Tuesdays every semester. And a lot of them were evening classes. LOL

My least favorite day is Tuesday as well. I always seem to have the most work assigned on Tuesday, and I still have three more days to get through before the weekend. My favorites are Friday and Saturday. I don't like Sunday because I have a whole week of hell to look forward to. Plus, nothing interesting ever happens on Sundays, and there's nothing on TV.

You sure it wasn't all that excessive hairspray inhalation making everybody stare off?:)
I have a colleague who won't put a clock up in her classroom, actually.

I took a Tuesday night class years ago, taught by the Dean of Academic affairs/Professor of Sociology. It met once a week and I could NOT keep my eyes open. Torture just trying.

I detest Wednesday's.
It's only half-way through the week, which makes it seem like the week will never end.
I love Friday's, just because the week is over with and I know that I have two days to sit back on my fat ass and take everything in (and, boy, do I take everything in... ).
I love Sunday's, too, because it's Alias night. :D

So we agree on the days. (That makes you smart. )
When you say you take in everything, technically that includes Thrown Down and WISYA. No wonder you like Fridays so much.:D

I love Wednesdays! For some weird reason.
My least favorite day: Thursdays. And you know... I don't know why.
Sometimes, I'm a mystery to myself.

So in other words your second grader will be older than his still-35-mom in a couple of years.

Well, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are all school days, plus I'm always busy on those nights. I don't like Sunday because that means the weekend is over, and on Monday I'm still in weekend mode. That made no sense whatsoever, but oh well :-p
