I've read "Rumours Exposed" and found that a semi-good read. I need help on finding a good Fleetwood Mac biography.

Also, could anyone recommend a good Stevie Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham biography?

Thanx! :wavey:

If you haven't read it already you should probably also take a look at Mick Fleetwood's book, which was published at the time 'Behind the Mask' came out. There was also a book published here in the UK by Bob Brumming called 'Behind the Masks'. It has some nice photos, but the content isn't too different to Mick Fleetwood's. I have an old old book called 'Fleetwood Mac: Rumours n' Fax' by Roy Carr and Steve Clarke which was published in 1978. Again, it's great for the photos but thin on facts.

I'm sure that they are all out of print, but perhaps you could pick one up on ebay. I bought the Carr and Clarke book from Record Collector magazine years ago (before the internet was so popular - I'm showing my age now...)

I've never heard of a biography about Lindsey or Stevie specifically, but they do have higher profiles in the USA than they do here in the UK so that might be why I haven't seen one in Britain. I'd love to know if there is one though!

Good luck

Bob Brunning has updated his book. It is now called Rumours and Lies. I don't have a copy yet though

The best one was the first published: 'Everything You Want To Know About Stevie Nicks,' by Ethlie Ann Vare & Ed Ochs.
It's not a bad book at all, and has interviews with many of Stevie's friends and associates.

The other two, 'Rock's Mystical Lady' and 'Lady Of The Stars'... both by Edward Wincentsen... are mainly the author's thoughts on Stevie, her career, and her "stage persona," and a reiteration of what other publications and journalists have written about her.
I think most people would agree that the best aspect of those two books is the selection of photographs found in both.

So far, Stevie and Peter Green are the only two members of Fleetwood Mac to have books written about them, and Mick is the only one to have published an autobiography. :)
