Stevie & Elvis Costello show in LA?

[gypsysara]

Anyone else heard anything about it?... a friend emailed me asking if I heard about Stevie playing in the LA area with Elvis Costello (i.e. an upcoming show).

I found E.C. playing an LA date with Steve Nieve.

Steve Nieve was/is the keyboard player for Elvis Costello's long-time backing band THE ATTRACTIONS.

Elvis' only LA date is at Royce Hall on March 3rd, but the band will be in Austrailia then. So unless your friend is referring to a low-key club show sometime before FM heads down under, I don't think it's very plausible. Maybe they've confused Stevie with Steve Nieve?

your right... it was Steve Nieve. Sorry about that. My blond friend must have had a blond moment!
