Any idea? Henley seems like a longshot because Stevie follows it with "You know who you are," as if the audience wouldn't really know this person. And if Henley had attended a Mac gig, he'd have probably seen the Hollywood Bowl show, which is more his territory.
Maybe Don Was, whom she talks about getting to know in the 1994 Off The Record interview? Don Was gave her some advice when she was down & out. Maybe that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
