Actually with the NEW fan club, you do not have to be a member to read the tour diaries...
just go here :

OK - 1. I want to see them lift La Nicks onto the stage every night  and I want to drive her golf cart!!!!!
Also, how cool is it that LB played "Trouble!"

I saw Stevie being driven in a golf cart when we were hanging around before the show on the 10th. She had Leelee with her when she was going to soundcheck. Wish we could have hung around longer to hear Trouble!
I think Cory Buckingham was a great choice for doing the tour diaries.

I also have to mention that a fan, or a group of fans, made Stevie a cake. They managed to give it to the right people and it actually made it back to Stevie’s dressing room. It was incredible. Stevie made sure we took plenty of pictures of it. It had little mini album covers on it, painted perfectly. It must have taken them forever to make, so incase any of the bakers of that cake are reading, we were all very impressed, Stevie included.
It was a member of Fireflies who sent this cake backstage. Her Mum made it. We wondered if it would have gotten to the band and I was glad to hear it did. I have some piccies here:

We were also reponsible for the mass of flying penguins!! She obvioulsy didn't notice the one that nearly whacked Stevie on the head!

There was no mention of whether they ate the cake. I was waiting for a report on how it tasted.
Also, I don't remember Crunchies, but I would move to England just for the Flakes.

Crunchies have a honeycomb centre. Flakes are to die for!!

I seriously want to go on tour, work crew and hang with Cory...she's a riot. I'm so glad she's the one doing the tour reports...such a change from those that appeared on the first leg of the tour (and then they went shopping..and then they had lunch...and then Mick played golf  ) So yes, PROPS TO CORY FOR WRITING GREAT TOUR REPORTS! Can't wait for Australia!

These diaries are great. What fun. Plus, I love golf carts. There is nothing like your own golf cart. Last time I worked on a studio lot, I formulated a huge memo with tons of reasons why my department simply HAD to have it's own golf cart. We got one. I was practically chained to it !

Glasgow and Belfast have been added now... liked this bit...
There were a few penguins thrown on to the stage in Glasgow. John saves every penguin anyone has ever given him or the band. And when I say every penguin, I mean every penguin. After taking the penguins in to John so they could introduce themselves, I went to put two penguins in his road case after the show...and there’s no room. There’s not even room for clothes anymore. It’s all penguins, shoved in to every drawer, in to every spare bit of space. It’s a good thing this leg of the tour is almost over, because we might have had to start sacrificing penguins.
