So I went to see Love Actually the other day, when during one of the scenes a cover version of Songbird starts to play. It was a really beautiful version too, so I made my friends stay for the credits. It is by the late Eva Cassidy. I guess it's been around for a while, but I had never heard it. If you haven't heard it yet either, definately should give it a listen.

I've seen Love Actually twice in the theaters now, and I think I talked a friend of mine into going with me to see it again lol...I LOVED it...and the funny thing is the first time I saw it I heard the song and was thinking..." this sounds so familiar, I know I know it, what IS it..." hahah..then I felt like a moron when I realized what it was....anyway, great use of the song, and the cover by Eva Cassidy is really good....

Eva Cassidy's is good, but I think I still like Christine's more. :) It's funny too because I was thinking about Christine for a second earlier in the movie (you know, since she's British and all) and so I was somewhat surprised when they played it.

I wonder if she's seen it...
