MEN Arena Photos 04/12/03

[Phil Lee]

I managed to get my digital camera into the concert last night and took a few photos, well a 191 actually but who's counting? :D Unfortunately I didn't capture Lindsey telling the guys who were fighting to get the f out of the concert. You can see the photos at http://www.racesimcentral.com/Phil/FM041203/

Glad you like the photos. Pip, if you want any high quality photos (2048x1536) contact me via Fireflies and I'll e-mail them to you. I guess your personal favourite is this one (http://www.racesimcentral.com/Phil/FM041203/pages/20031204-118.htm), not Mick behind all his drums. BTW my personal favourite is this one (http://www.racesimcentral.com/Phil/FM041203/pages/20031204-101.htm).

[Gypsy-Rhiannon]

Phil you have some amazing photos!! I wish I knew how to put a link to your photos so I could show 91 my favorite. Stevie looks like an angel with the way the light is behind her.

Thanks for sharing!

Those are fabulous!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!

*I see that Stevie has on boots from GYOW on!

Why did Lindsey change to the white strat all of a sudden? Does the song sound different now without the Turner.

[Gypsy-Rhiannon]

He broke his guitar on Saturday at Earls Court!

Pip

[BlueGrass]

Wow, my Dad was right. Anyway, doesn't he carry more than one?

[madformac]

He got rather carried away with the moment and when he did his usual "swing the guitar around the head by it's neck like a mad axeman" routine, this time he let go in full motion and flung it across the stage. It came down on it's top, bounced, slid gracefully down the stage and it seems to have ripped the bridge off and also damaged the pickup cover. I seem to recall him picking it up and wondering why the strings were swinging around...

From what I saw, Lindsey has 4 Model 1's with him on tour, along with a Gibson Chet Atkins, a Taylor 814CE, a Turner RS6 and a Turner RN6.

The Fender Strat (a white bodied, rosewood board Mexican model) appeared for the following Earls Court show. I guess Ray persuaded Lindsey that if he was gonna destroy another guitar it should be a cheap one! In the three concerts since Lindsey has thrown it all over the stage. It's pretty scarred already!!!!

[Janet]

LOL He broke his guitar:)

But I love those pics! Thank you everyone for sharing! Yours were great Phil Lee:)
