New Admin at Micks Is Worst Yet

Well, go figure. A man gets the boot, and he either:

Brings on theWORST admin to Micks site yet;

Poses as the WORST admin;

Allows Trin or someone like him to Pose as the WORST admin.

What in the hell is wrong over there? Those who forget the past are DOOMED to repeat it.

The issues are there, they are not going away and the censorship that is being practiced yet again, with the admin groupies cheering it on, and thanking the new "Administrator" are unbelievable.

I think that we ALL know who got us the shows, the ones that Knight tried to take credit for. And, we were told best 20% of the floor, and the rules have been changed to suit, meet, the needs of the failures.

I checked it out at the computer lab on campus (since I'm banned) and was a bit dumbstruck. It's truly horrendous, Jan. At least Lindsey took charge of the fan club and his management now runs it! :D :nod:

From what I understood, the fan club was changing hands, NOT Mick's board or anything like that. From what I read its still the same people over there running the show on the board.

Yep....you got that right. I personally think that it is one of the existing ones under a new persona because of the way that it is worded, but, it really makes little difference. Birds of a feather and all that. I was just shocked as I had hoped that Mick would take some of the power away, or be more proactive in overseeing how his fans are being treated, but, I guess he is turning a blind eye. Good thing that the fan club did not belong to him exclusively.

It looks like JT's latest mini-me has crawled back under whatever rock he/she came from. Six control-freak posts last night and then nothing. Even some of the inmates over at that asylum got fed up. Does Mick not know? Or does he just not care? Unbelievable.

Well, I can certainly understand your hesitation to accept it and it is surely deserved. It took too long to unhinge that bad door. I really hope that the new person can see what went down and will understand what the fans need to mend and heal this gaping wound that JT inflicted on the community. isnt it a shame that history is repeating itself over there, i too still thinks its one of the old admins either trin, jt, maybe even jackie, who knows, who cares, all i know is yes the additude is the same as the old admins, he/she came on like a bit to aggressive and like you or someone noted the wording is quite familiar. what i dont understand is if jt got fired from the club, why would mick keep JT on for his board, makes no sense at all. thank god lindsey took notice and cared enough to do something and make something change hopefully for the better. where did it mention that lindseys mngt took over the fan club, thats great, if its true,, go lindsey go lindsey, go lindsey

Hey TeeDee...how are you doing? I am not sure that I would say that they took it over. They just took the lead in restructing it, I would say. One thing about them is that they are fan friendly and concerned. They are good people for sure.

OMG...the ppl there. They are either brainless or dumb or just followers, or hope to get something from their devotion...but, there is one that has ALWAYS perplexed me. That person talks out of both sides of their mouth. Will say two opposite things in one post...."we were screwed and we were mad, but, we got our moneys worth"...huh? that person has always done that. Kinda sad, actually. I always have known what I wanted and believed at least. And, the one thing that I wanted more than anything and will not see is some type of expose of JT and this whole thing on 60 minutes..but, who knows. If something else happens, it may cause all this to come back up to authorities and we may get that yet, just not now. For now, we just hope for peace in the fan club, to be recognized and respected. And, for some of us to get our love of the Mac back. I hope that they step up and say something to us about all this. It would be wonderful if Mick would get his head out of the sand and deal with JT as well, but, this is probably easier for him, huh?:distress:

I must have REALLY pushed some buttons over there about the Fan Club?!? ;) I was on their short list of future people to ban!!! I was history!!

What happened to me is I fought the charge with my credit card company and they gave me a credit. Then (for some unknown reason?) my credit card company reversed it's decision and I have been fighting ever since!!:mad: :(

Any tips anyone can share who maybe have gone thorough this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Unfortunately, I have no advice. I only know of one person who successfully got a refund and they went through the process of filling out the paper work WAY back when JT sent that to us if we were unhappy. That is the ONLY person that I know of. The funny thing is that when I contacted mgmt, one of the mgrs ppl said to me, "huh? I thought that was discussed and decided that the refunds would be given." So, even early on mgmt of at least one of them thought that JT was granting the refunds. The thing that bothers me is the reasons that the club gave to refuse the refunds.

The process that they used for you is common and normal, unfortunately. I would really think that perhaps you can talk to the new fan club ppl once they are in place, but, they are probably going to be limited as to what they can do. The money that we paid is long gone, I am sure. Remember all that high tech equipment that JT talked about so that this would be the most connected tour ever?

Well, the best I can describe the chat board over there is "stale" so I thought I'd come over here and check it out. I am a member of the fanclub and got screwed along with most. It would be great to see the data regarding how many actual seats the club had for each show, where they were, and how many were taken by club "employees" and whether they were free or not. If they had nothing to hide they would've shared this information willingly.

I was fortunate to attend the PBS taping which went through the fanclub but I hear was the result of Lindsey's manager's efforts. So, to him, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. That was the nicest thing that has ever happened to me as a fan. I'm still a little dumbstruck that it happened. Lindsey rocks :cool:

I'm happy to be posting in a place where it seems we may be free to speak our minds.

Welcome Susan!! It certainly would be interesting to know where the seats were that we were able to buy. That is info that JT had all along, or had access to. He just refused to answer questions regarding it. Whenever we buy seats to a concert, we get to see them, as a rule, before we buy, so it would have made sense to know the actual section that was being made available to us before we joined the club. The club was marketed to us as a means to get the best seats we could, "best 20% of the floor, closest", so, why not? At any rate, that part of the tour was tainted for us, and he really never seemed to care one way or the other. He had his means to his end, it seemed. I hope that he sleeps well knowing that not only did he offend and seem to rob us, but, he did the fans of his supposed friend wrong. That part would be the most unacceptable to me were I Mick.
