This makes me so mad. Who would sell this? IMO, this is just plain wrong and terrible for someone to sell this. It makes me .... I can't say it:mad:

Any comments, or agreements/disagrements?

If it makes you feel any better, consider that it's on ebay, so there's a good chance it's not a real master anything.

Nah, I'd be more outraged if this person were selling a CD copy of the reel. As far as I know, the selling of the actual reel-to-reel tape is perfectly legal, but selling copies of it is not. I can see why people would want to sell them (once you get them transferred, what's the point of keeping them around?) and I can also see why people would want to buy them (they're quite collectible. It would be cool to own a little piece of Stevie history.) $500 seems like a bit much, but when you consider the very large amount of money (we're talking thousands) people have spent obtaining and transferring these, it makes sense to try to recoup some of it. I know I'd never be able to pay $500 for a tape, but other people have. To each his own!

I know alot of people on this board don't like ebay. I LOVE IT:nod: What's not to love about it? I mean, yeah you get abunch of frauds, but I have so much stuff I've purchased, like tourbooks, posters, shirts, all FM and SN, and they're absoulutley great. NOT trying to flame anyone here, but I mean, some stuff is pretty cool:)

I agree. The price tag is ridiculous! I know I couldn't afford to bid on it even if I wanted to. I pinch my pennies so hard that y'all can hear Lincoln scream.

This is probably one of the "storage unit masters." It would be a cool thing to own. And yeah, you have to be careful on ebay but I like it and have gotten some great authentic pieces on there.:)

Well, not that bad, actually, considering a reel of BLANK 2" tape is close to $300.

Hah, yeah I can just see the successful bidder going "Oh wow, some Stevie Nicks stuff... plus once I've listened to it once I can use the tape!!"
I'm just laughing looking at the picture thinking of Jimmy Iovine or someone being the one hawking it.
