It has just occured to me that Johns birthday is the 26th November when quite a few of us here in the UK will be seeing FM at the NEC in Birmingham!! Definitely must make some banners and try to get a birthday chorus going for him!!!!

Hey Pip! Meredith and I rocked the Lindsey birthday love (and wore Happy Birthday tiaras and had a sign..lol) and he and the band were definately into that. I say GO FOR IT! :nod:

Time for a plan me thinks!! I will be front row at that gig and there will be many others from Fireflies UK there. I'm sure we can sort something out!

Birthday tiaras/crowns!!! Do it!!! We got SO much love for that and we were in the SIXTH ROW!!! :laugh: And make a sign too!!! :) You will get Johnny love for sure.

One of the talented members of Fireflies also made this drawing of a pnguin with a John McVie Tattoo!! We have stuck this on the inside

PIP!!!! Honey, those cards are AMAZING!!! He will LOVE them,I just know it-- especially the Penguin with the John tattoo!!!

The Tattoo and Card are terrific.

I am fairly partial to John.

OMG-you guys are so cool-I wonder if John has ever got this kind of attention at any show. I think its extra cool because the rest of the band will know how big of FM fans you are if you do all that for John!!!

I painted a penguin playing bass on a sign that said "I <3 J. McVie" for the Knoxville show. He's my faaaavorite.

I'm sure he's gotten some love this tour. :)

I think your idea is BRILLIANT, and it's great to see the master of the Fleetwood Mac bass getting some serious recognition. I LOVE your card, and think the "tattoo" is a total crack up.

You gotta line someone else up to take a pic of his reaction . . . and I sure hope the band has their camera running. Way to go!!!!

I hope your other project also works out, the one involving Christine.

I am so wishing I could "get on a midnight plane" and see these shows with you! You guys waited soooo patiently during the tours here, so I'm glad to see you aren't holding the good times back.
