BellaDonna live

[Races Are Run]

I was reading the Waddy interview over at the Penguin and he said that he was trying to convince Stevie to do "BellaDonna" on the TISL tour (if you haven't read the Waddy Q&A, it is great!). In the end, they decided not to do it because apparantly, they (Waddy &Stevie) thought it had "too much" in the song ... too complex (?) (whatever...).

Anyway, after that, I didn't think much about it. However, I just downloaded the MP3 of "BellaDonna" live from the 1981 tour and it is really, unbelievably good.

She should have done this on TISL. Wouldn't that have been cool- as the opener?!?!?!?! I know I woulda freaked out. Just the intro and then "You can ride high atop your poney, I know you won't fall...." Would have thrown me for a loop!

I agree that Belladonna would have been a cool opening to the TISL tour. I really liked the live version also. :)

Yeah. Stevie should have done ALOT of cool things that she didn't. I don't think she really plans her setlist around what the fans want, more, what she can do.:) I can partly understand, cause she's older, but come on, on her last tour, whenever that will be, she owes us.
