A few updates over at Radio and Records (http://www.radioandrecords.com). Fleetwood Mac is featured in the box at the upper right hand corner of the page.

In addition to Steal Your Heart Away being added (as Joe68 reported) along with Thrown Down, the PBS special is supposed to air this fall (???) and the band is scheduled to play on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve (LOL!).

You can also hear samples of both songs at their site, both are (unfortunately) album versions.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Is the show filmed in LA or NYC? I could go to NYC.

It's filmed in Times Square, New York. At least, Dick Clark has appeared to be sitting in front of the monster Times Square crowd. But who knows, maybe they film the performances on an LA soundstage (?) and go back and forth.

I think that was a different NYE show. The one you're referring too was hosted by Peter Jennings from 2001, right?

VERY COOL! Much better than just that lame ABC "new year's eve around the world." Dick will appreciate Lindsey! :)

Yeah - Dick's usually in NYC but the performances are usually in LA or Vegas occasionally.

Most of those performances are taped a month or so in advance, they're not REALLY "live" on December 31st. Who knows, maybe they've already taped their portion of the show?

This is great news, thanks a lot for posting it! How awesome it would be if they promoted Thrown Down and Steal Your Heart Away by playing it on the show...!:nod: (Please guys...DON'T do Peacekeeper and SYW yet AGAIN!)
