Is there any chance that BN might be issued on CD in honor of the 30th anniversary of its release??

Let's just hope they release it before the 35th anniversary!

It is UNFATHOMABLE to me why they don't re-release this! Grr!

My thoughts exactly, Nancy! They are really sitting on a goldmine with this album. I swear, if they released it, it would go platinum in less than a month.

You'd think with all the albums Lindsey has signed over the last 70 shows, they'd get the message and release the darn thing.

I could have started a whole thread with this but I figured it wasn't fair to get anyone's hopes up;)

In the anals of self designed album covers and made up cds on Ebay, this is in a class all by itself!

I wonder if Lindsey knows he's got a new cd out!

Since modern technology has surpassed regular old cd's, I'm gonna stop whining about it ....and start begging for the DVD-A version of B/N instead!!!

I've bought some REALLY funky things off of that site. Great place to buy from and they have some *SUPER* rare stuff. They have stuff I never knew existed, so I'd recommend checking it out to everyone.

Awhile back I read that Rhino records would be releasing BuckinghamNicks on CD sometime in the next year (along with a slew of other albums by various artists that were never available on CD). However I just did a Google search and a search on rhino.com w/ no success. I thought I read it someplace that seemed "official", hmmm...

Also, in regards to Cours' "in the anals of self designed album covers..." ....I think it's "annals"...

Only the front of the cover.

I am sure that on the current tour Stevie is working on Lindsey to release BN on CD. I bet it's the next project....maybe even with a tour. (BN songs plus Stevie & Lindsey solo songs)
Speaking of getting hopes up.

Yes, I'll bet it's the new project....but I think Lindsey will open up the mixes and let john and mick fill it in... so it'll be the next Fleetwood Mac-album...
  ;)

I think Mick & John will guest on a couple songs, but that's it. NO way will this be marketed as a Mac album. This is Stevie's and Lindsey's chance to market what they brought to the band, and they know it.
But I could see Mick and John touring with them.
And I think other songs of the era will be put on the album, like the original Sorcerer and Amber.

...but lindsey not putting out something with his name on it sounds familiar, huh? And because they haven't done it yet just makes you think that the man is scared to put his own name on a cover. well at least he knows that the other name will cause some income....;) :D

PS and off topic, I re-discovered Zevons' Hindu Love Gods- album with REM the last couple of weeks. You know that one? Rocks your socks off.
