I was shocked but it was late and I didn't get on here on time.
She was on Countdown regarding what she said about Madonna and Britney. The showed pics of her singing at Woodstock and the Peacekeeper video and they just quoted her.
I was shocked that her little comments were deemed that important.
She makes good points but Im sure now she isn't "good" with Britney. Oh well LOL!

Here is the website http://www.msnbc.com/news/970648.asp
But first, taking issue with Ms. Nicks, here’s COUNTDOWN’s list of the top three moments in television history that are much more obnoxious than the Madonna-Britney Spears kiss. No. 3, the Al and Tipper Gore kiss, for instance. No. 2, Ann Coulter, anytime, anywhere. Arrr, Jim boy, Arrr. And No. 1, the guy with the leather jacket and mustache on the debut of ESPN2 10 years ago next Wednesday. Now, he was obnoxious.
:distress: This emoticon will have to do, I don't have the barfing one. I'd rather watch Madonna and Britney kiss any day than ever have to witness THAT makeout session again. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Even my local newspaper had Stevie's comments about the Britney/Madonna kiss as its "quote of the day." I was shocked.

the story even migrated all the way out to california, which considering all the other nutty things going on in this state it's amazing her comments made the papers, even my roomate who is a very casual fan relayed the mention to me, saying "wow I never realized Stevie was sooo opinionated and so blunt, but it's about time someone said something about how wrong that scene was". I agreed with her and also was a little shocked to hear Stevie being so blunt, she is usually so tactful regaurding her opinions on other ppl esp. young artists, but as I told my roomie, "it is a bit odd for stevie to be so blunt, she must have skipped a pill."

The Current Issue of US WEEKLY with J-LO on the cover (you're thinking I thought they ALL HAD HER on the cover!) in the Loose Talk section it has a quote from Stevie.
"It was the most obnoxious moment in TV History. Madonna is too old to be kissing someone who is 21. And Britney should be smarter than that."
STEVIE NICKS, on the that imfamous MTV VMA Liplock
