The show was AMAZING. Other people will post reviews soon enough, but I wanted to get the (truly awesome) set list posted...
Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
Steal Your Heart Away
Big Love (1X)
Go Insane
Trouble
Peacekeeper (2.5X)
Red Rover
Never Going Back Again*
Say Goodbye*
Murrow
Go Your Own Way
I Am Waiting
Down on Rodeo
Bleed to Love Her
Save Me a Place
Stevie was on NGBA and Say Goodbye. He played all of the songs twice for us except Big Love (one time) and Peacekeeper (two and a half times- hilarious technical glitch).
Bleed to Love Her and Save Me a Place were requests at the end that he did for fun.
Best part- I screamed "Frozen Love" at S&L in a silent moment, and Stevie sang the first two lines of the song a capella, then said that those were the only lyrics she could remember.... Lindsey then made a comment about how beautiful/great the two-part harmony on that song was.
It was SO cool. Look forward to other people's reviews.

Oh.Mah.Gah. WOW. He did Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind??!?!! *dies* RED ROVER?!?! *Marissa and Christy die* MURROW?!?! *dies* I LOVE THESE SONGS. This is an AMAZING setlist. Wow. I knew I should have gone. Damnit. What song is "I Am Waiting"?? Thanks so much for posting because i've been waiting for someone to get back  Thanks SO much for sharing. I cannot wait until they air the show
Thank you Hayley! It's fantastic that you got to go. I'd love to hear your review when you've got the time.

I was reminded by someone that "I Am Waiting" was an outtake from Say You Will... they mentioned it in that guitar article where they went through and talked about a bunch of the songs before the album was out.
It's actually a Rolling Stones cover... it's on Aftermath... Lindsey's version was beautiful.
It was SUCH a great show. I don't think any of us could believe our ears some of the stuff he was playing... as for Red Rover... he'd actually said that they might have to play it three times instead of two, but they didn't... probably because it was SO good the first two times. It sounded AMAZING!
By the way, was any mention made of when this might air? The wait may kill me, since not being able to go already staggered me. ;)

I'm sure other people will post much more comprehensive reviews than I possibly could... but it was a great show. Really, the best part of it was just the interaction between Lindsey and the audience, and getting to see the stupid little stuff. At one point, someone yelled out for "Holiday Road" and the look on his face was like this disgusted "Ugh, you remember that song?!! Why do people have to remember it?!?!" look, it was so funny. He was humored by it.
There was an awkward moment where the stage manager wanted him to be powdered cuz he was too shiny!-hahaha- and there was this totally mortifying moment for Lindsey where he was being powdered by the makeup girl on stage... he looked so embarassed and sheepish.
Another great part was seeing him do "Save Me a Place"- it was great to see him cut loose and be so spontaneous... he and Neale kept trying to figure out what key to do it in, and it was great to see him just pick it up and go with it after someone in the audience asked him for it.
My other favorite part was during Peacekeeper #1- something happened with Neale's guitar, and they stopped the song halfway through. Lindsey started to walk over to Neale, and just said really loudly- "WHA HAPPENED?"- Luke and I started to laugh so hard- I guess Lindsey shares a fondness for "A Mighty Wind" with us.
Oh, Les- I forgot you were a J.Buckley fan. Have you picked up Columbia's new expanded Live at Sine? It has some amazing stuff on it.
-Hayley :-)
Edit: Oh- they didn't mention at all when it would air. Which was annoying. Hope it's in November, during the November pledge drive!
Thanks for the details! Your post reminds me of one other question I've been so curious about -- who was on stage with him (besides Neale)?

Forgot- it was Neale Haywood, Brett Tuggle, and Taku. Every song was guitar driven- Taku's percussion was really light, and there was at no point that I noticed anyone playing bass... which was totally cool.
Love these details. Thanks so much!

Wow, that's an absolutely amazing set-list!
I'd be glued to the TV even if it were just for "Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind" and "Murrow" alone.
Though I have to admit that I was hoping he and Stevie would at least do their acoustic version of "Gypsy"... but I think it's really impressive that the two of them are at a place where she can come out and be his "special guest," just singing harmony vocals.
Very laudable. :)
Can't wait to see this!

Thanks for the list, and for doing your part to bring back FL. Apparently we know the songs better than they do. (Was there ever any doubt?) I only wish there were BN songs. We've already heard those two songs with Stevie this year. I would have loved Crystal and Without a Leg to Stand On.
What did Murrow sound like? Did it have a big sound like on the album or was it done with more of an acoustic sound?

Wow... Was this show filmed or recorded? Lindsey doing Murrow and Red Rover! Jesus!
It was taped for public television's "Soundstage" series. If your local public television station shows this series, you should get to see it. I guess we just have to wait to see how long it takes before this hits the air. I gather the lag time between tapings and actual airings can vary quite a bit sometimes. I hope it's not going to be in the too distant future!

taping it and burning the audio
portion straight to cd when it is broadcast (I'm very thankful for the digital cable more than ever)...
Btw, It's not like I don't have enough Fleetwood Mac related 2003 stuff on video/cd as it is now (Sarcastically speakin' of course)
Brian "True Insomniac" j.
ps-Here is the excerpt from the "Guitar Player" magazine (I typed up awhile back on the "Lindsey" Board...) about the song "I Am Waiting":
"I Am Waiting-"The straight sound is a Baby Taylor with gut strings," says Buckingham. "Then I played the same part through a very ethereal patch on the Roland VG-8. I like the idea of mixing different textures with a single guitar part."

Another great part of the taping was when someone requested Frozen Love. Stevie and Lindsey both laughed and smiled then Stevie sang the first 2 lines of the song. Lindsey smiled at her and she said that all she remembered was those 2 lines.
Lindsey then went on to say how great and tight the 2 part harmonies were on the B/N album.
That was one of the many highlights.

Holy crap! I'm just like....stunned! Wow!
Waaah! I wish I had gone!!
Not to be a spoil-sport here, but does anyone know how long this show usually is? I'm concerned that if LB did 15 songs, averaging 5 minutes per song, that comes out to 75 minutes. I hope they don't whittle down the final version that ends up on TV to 60 minutes. If they do that and they're smart, then PBS should sell the full 75-or so-minute version. On DVD. Yeah, that's the ticket....

It's a 60 minute show... Lindsey said at the beginning that he'd heard previous performers on Soundstage had played thirty songs or more, but that he was going to tailor it more to being an hour-long show, he'd just play everything twice or more. I'm sure a lot will end up on the cutting room floor, most likely BLTH and Save Me a Place- those were impromptu, and for us by request.
I was the one who screamed Frozen Love, and I was glad I did and that she did that...! The roar from everyone when she started to sing those lines was monumental.
Someone else asked if it was acoustic- it wasn't acoustic at all. He had the band behind him, and he only played the standard stuff (Big Love, Go Insane, etc) by himself. He played I Am Waiting by himself, but played it on electric guitar.
Also, GYOW was not acoustic- I saw someone post that- it was live and it ROCKED- his solo on it was amazing- both times. After the first performance of it, he joked that he didn't know if he could handle doing it again- but he did, and it was even better.
In regards to Murrow live- it's hard to describe. It wasn't necessarily as hard-edged as it is on the album, but it wasn't empty in any way either... it was interesting how he sang the chorus, and the guitar solo at the end was awesome. The first time, it started to sound a lot like I'm So Afraid at the end, and the second time, it sounded like he was playing the I'm So Afraid solo note by note for awhile. It rocked.

That's funny Hayley. I didn't hear anyone else yell Frozen Love with me. The lady next to me from Maryland (I think her name was Ruth) and I were egging each other on the whole show to yell it. Then finally I just got the guts and yelled it during one of the quiet moments when Stevie was on stage with him. Anyway, I'm so glad Stevie sang those first 2 lines. How cool!

Actually, that's funny... I remember yelling it and then hearing someone else yell it right after- that must've been you. I joked with the person next to me about how funny it was that someone else got the nerve to yell it at the exact same time I did!
I think when she started to sing it, I was screaming so damn loudly that I missed half of it anyhow ;-)

To reiterate what Hayley has said, this show ROCKED my world!!
I was soo blown away by his impromptu abilities. He surprised me. He was thinking of doing a melody of choruses to some songs but he changed his mind because it would be easier to play BTLH. hehe
I thought about which song from Tusk would I love to hear but would NEVER expect in a million years...is "Save Me A Place". I have to admit it, I CRIED! That song holds sentimental value and Lindsey did a wonderful job and his voice was so soft and tender. Unbelievable!!!!
"I Am Waiting" is just as tender! Awwww!
There is much more to discuss, however, I cant think clearly at the moment.

Question to those who were there:
Do you think Lindsey and Stevie were surprised at the request for Frozen Love and/or the crowd's reaction when Stevie sang a little of it? By now they must be aware that there's a huge demand for a re-release of the Buckingham Nicks album.

I was there last night and the show was absolutely amazing. It started around 8:10 lasted until 11:45.
Some stuff not listed in other reviews:
Lindsey's wife and mother-in-law sat directly above me in the upper balcony. At the end of the show someone screamed out, "Thank you to your wife for letting you play this late!" and she stood over the balcony and said, "My pleasure!". Very cool lady! He pointed her out numerous times during the night.
Stevie was somewhat of a disappointment. She did not look like she wanted to be there. She didnt acknowledge the crowd at all, never said a word except for the Frozen Love part and never even really looked into the audience. It was disappointing.
The set list was amazing. It was the absolute opposite of what I thought he'd play. I thought he'd only play the songs that the MAc are playing on tour, but obviously that was not the case.
"I am Waiting" was beautiful and "Down on Rodeo" is quite a catchy song. "Trouble" was done really paired down, gorgeous!
What a truly AMAZING experience. I cannot believe I was lucky enough to attend this very special show!!!!!

Be patient with my review because my mind was totally blown by the experience and at this point, my memories are a bit disjointed, disorganized, and muddled. I will give it a try though!
At first I was bummed that the first three rows were reserved solely for fan club winners and they weren't letting anyone else up there, no matter how early we'd been there. It turned out to be a great seat, though, because behind me was the camera and Lindsey was looking that way the WHOLE evening!
When I first heard the strains of "Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind" - one of my favorites - I about died! And then SYHA - one of my favorites - and later Red Rover - one of my favorites - and Go Insane... ok, you get the picture, lol. I was SO THRILLED the entire evening. Oh, I thank God I got to go!
The audience was so cool - cheering for everything. At one point someone yelled "RED ROVER!" And he said "Actually, we're doing that later." I screamed "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" but I wasn't the only one who was excited. Everyone around me was cheering too. He looked surprised and delighted. After he played the song, he said something to the effect of: "I'm so glad you guys like that. That's my favorite piece on the album..." [at which I screamed 'MINE TOO!' along with several others] "...and really representative of what we're trying to do now. It's very... gratifying."
The only thing I didn't like was his lame intro about Greek gods - he even mentioned Zeus and Hera - I laughed out loud because I remember when I'd first heard him say that, I posted sarcastically in the Lindsey forum about Lindsey hanging out with Zeus and Hera, lol. It was the same old, same old, as many of his intros were, but other than those he was so natural and at ease. It was AWESOME.
His intro for Peacekeeper was a little different in that he used new phrasing, calling it a "satire about the disconnect that occurs when one gets too much power." Murrow was introduced by a condemnation of the media - he quoted Murrow about the power of the media for good or for bad and then talked about how much worse things are now that are on TV and how harmful that is, specifically adding "especially by those who claim objectivity."
I was usually afraid to scream things out loud, but at one point he was wiping down with a towel and it was yelled that "You know the girls want that!" Of course we were all squealing, lol. He said "Let's wait until it's more rank" or something, lol, and then I yelled, "Use more than one, and then disperse them evenly!" That got laughs from those who heard it but LB didn't. I actually think it's a good idea. The President signs bills with several pens for just that reason - so that he can give more than one person "the pen that made this bill a law" or whatever.
I screamed out "Holiday Road" a few times when he asked for requests, but unlike Robin, I didn't get mine! However, hearing those first two lines of Frozen Love... THANK YOU ROBIN! For about three seconds, I thought "ARE THEY GONNA DO THAT?!" And even yelled "DO IT! DO IT!" lol But poor Stevie forgot. The way LB was looking at her was like - "Are we really gonna do this? Do you really want to? Because I'll sing it if you will." I truly think if she'd remembered the rest they would have done the chorus acappella (though I don't think they would've done the whole song). Oh, well. That's more than we'll ever hear otherwise!
Speaking of Stevie, she came out to do NGBA, and he introduced her in a fun way - talked about cycles and healing and all that, and then he says something like "And this is a person I've known a long time - since I was about 17...." and of course the crowd goes wild - we all know who it is! "STEVIE NICKS!" Once she arrived, they whispered together for like two minutes. Finally when Lindsey paused I yelled "WHAT?!" lol They whispered some more and then got down to business. Stevie faced Lindsey during NGBA and never looked away from him, but frankly the song itself was unremarkable. It actually seemed to get less crowd response than his more unusual tunes like "Red Rover" - but perhaps I'm projecting, lol.
The look Lindsey gave Stevie during "Say Goodbye" was very intense. Stevie looked very somber and almost... stoic. And yet I also saw a hint of defiance - the way she unflinchingly meets his gaze even though "Say Goodbye" is a story about leaving her behind. Their mics were placed so close together that it was a different vibe from the vast gulf that separates them during that song on stage at FM concerts, lol. It gave it a more intimate dynamic that was so powerful. When it ended, Lindsey went over to her and they did their side hug thing... and then he hesitantly moved to kiss her head, hilariously looking out of the corner of his eye at Kristen. It was quite obvious although he tried to be smooth, lol. Somebody was saying that she was about to kiss his hand and then stopped around this point. When they decided to do it again, Lindsey said, "Well, that spoils that moment."
When they did it again, it not as intense, but afterwards they seemed more comfortable with touching each other. I think it was less emotional then, ironically, because it was like "Now we'll just do it because we did it before." I don't know, I could be confused about what happened between and after which version of "Say Goodbye." I was just so excited!
And can you believe it - NO LANDSLIDE! I have to say that I was actually relieved that in its place we would get another LB song.
At the end, when he came back after GYOW and played "I Am Waiting," a song that I - obsessive Lindsey demo collector - had never heard before, you can imagine how excited I was! I was like "MUST REMEMBER ALL LYRICS" - then I find out it was a cover, lol. Actually my first thought was that it was a cover - don't know why, maybe because of its old-fashioned sound. Then Tiffany told me it was an outtake and I thought it was orginal... whatever the case, what a treat to hear it! And "Down on Rodeo" - I wanted to sing along, but I thought "What if he sees me, since I'm in his line of sight? We're not supposed to have those" lol. I pretended that I "learned" the chorus and sang with it after the first time, though.
I was so thrilled when he told us about halfway through, after someone yelled "HOLIDAY ROAD!" That he would do his set and then "maybe stay for a few more" or something to that effect. I thought for sure he would do "Holiday Road" - he did it live for OOTC - but maybe he didn't have the right guitar tuned for it, I don't know. Once he did get out after the official set list, he surprised me by saying "I just have five more minutes, because my wife is flying home tomorrow morning and I need to be with her." I was dismayed by this little tidbit because obviously she curtailed his plans to stay for "a few songs." Oh, well, he stayed past his 5 minutes to play both "Bleed to Love Her" and "Save Me a Place." I hope he didnt get in trouble, lol. Someone yelled "Thank your wife for allowing you to stay after" and I had to laugh at that. I thought "That's a good little boy, Lindsey!" He looked up at the balcony and somewhat sheepishly repeated it to Kristen (and her mother lol). Kristen stood up and grinned broadly at that as everyone cheered for her, though, so he probably didn't get in trouble after all, lol.
Oh, and about Down on Rodeo - the words that everyone (including me) got wrong in the bridge are: "I'm going where no one has gone before, ain't never coming back." He introduced it by talking about how it was about people who aren't commited to a relationship and just window shop. I kept listening for something that would make it about either Anne or Stevie but it was much too vague. I would like to know if someone remembers more of that speech, and it is one of the things that I seem unable to remember. It seems that things I most want to remember are the ones escaping me! Just my luck.
Everything else seems to have been covered by others. If I think of anything else I'll add it later. Over all it was an incredible, special, thrilling experience and I feel priveleged to have been there.

Yeah that was me. i thought it would have been acoustic because there only was light percussion by Taku and only neal and brett were there. So i assumed: no bass, no drums, no electric rockin' GYOW. It's hard to describe what GYOW was like... it was just totally guitar driven. Taku was still making some noise back there, but without the heavy bass and drums the song did sound different. It was a little more relaxed at the beginning, without the edge that the heavier rock sound w/ bass and drums adds... but by the time he got to the solo, it was more on fire than I've ever seen with the band.
It was great to hear. More than anything, I'm still in shock that he mixed it up so much and was so loose. Fleetwood Mac is always so ordered and rehearsed and doesn't step outside of the box too much- and being used to that, I forget what it could be like if that box was eliminated. I never imagined that he would, could, or would want to shake it up like that.
Nancy- I thought the Red Rover story was so silly, but even worse was the Murrow speech... I had to fight the urge to look at my watch to see how long it would go on ;-) I thought it was so funny afterwards when he was all "Do I need to do that intro again? No, I didn't think I needed to do it the first time..."

I disagree that Stevie was disinterested or bored. I really think that she wanted to give Lindsey as much respect as he deserved.
I know that there were some people that were there just to see her and I heard someone call out "Where's Stevie" long before she came out. I think that is totally rude. I am the most devoted Stevie fan in the world, but this was a Lindsey Buckingham event.
Stevie did smile when the crowd was calling her name but she was not hamming it up out of respect for Lindsey. She focused all her attention on him.

Sulamith (Sharon) and I are in the Kinko's in Chicago paying to use the computer there in an effort to spread the love
We met so many great Ledgies and that was just awesome!!!!!!!
The concert was just great. LB wore a v-neck t-shirt, black leather jacket, the leather chain, and faded black jeans. We originally were sitting is good seats, but a friend upgraded us to third row - how about that!!!!!
SGCYM - He played a white older looking Fender Strat that appeared to be from the pre-Turner days a la the middle/early days of the 70's FM. It has a great/fuller sound and was just a beautiful instrument. We know just a little about guitars (Sharon knows more than I), but this white one needs to be played more often  He also had a prerecorded track of kids' voices for this one.
Everyone pretty much sumed up the set list, so here are some juicy details we noticed in case you are interested
SYHA sounded good and Neale (high) and Brett's harmonies were really good. It was odd not to have the higher female parts, but this less lush version really worked.
After a stunning as usual rendition of Big Love, the sweaty LB opined while shaking his hand, "I think we'll just do that one once"
Right When he started "Trouble" I (Jason) did not recognize it as it had been so long since I had heard it. Thankfully, my dizzy moment was not too long. This song was perhaps one of the best of the night for us. It was just so up beat and reminded us of the times when he made it.
Right before Go Insane, he looked at Neale and said "What key is this in [G or E (maybe F)]?" Carne, Chili, and you other guitar oriented Ledgies should have been there to help him out!!!!!!
The towel taunting episode after Peacekeeper was just hysterical. You wild women are going to scare that poor man or Kristen is going to put a stop to the towel taunting .
Red Rover was incredible. He explained that he may have to do the song three times because it was difficult to play and sing. He also said what is easy to do in the studio is not easy to reproduce on stage  The song had a less techno fell on the vocals, but the chorus was less full than the CD cut, but it totally worked. It was such a treat to hear this song live!!!
Then they took a break and brought La Nicks' mic. sans the decoration - it was after all his not her show and she totallu respected that despite people crying out for her. I think she did not look into the audience for that very reason - but that is our opinion. The Frozen Love lines were stunning. I (Jason) too screamed it and I have a booming voice!!!!! We almost passed out!!! She sounded great and we thought for a minute they might do it, a situation pregnant with possibilities. LB commented on the great two part harmonies they used to do - I think they should take a hint and do some more  Steive's hair was parted on the side and wore her black platform less than knee high BOOTS (thank goodness no Frankenboks!). Sharon had never been that close to her and thought she was just gorgeous, which she was. They totally fed off of each other. Someone said they saw LB tell SN she looked beautiful tonight and I saw him whisper in her ear "you know I love you," probably in refeence to thanking her for being there for him. It really was touching. She also kind of hid behind him right before they walked off of the stage. It was so cute.
Exit Stevie after great versions of NGBA and Say Goodbye.
Then Murrow. Which was my (Jason) favorite of the evening. It was intersting to hear him sing "Ed Murrow had a child - IN HIS GRAVE - the damn thing went wild - IN HIS GRAVE!!" The hard rock at the end was stellar. Brett Tuggle was doing a vocal for the (Wuubbaa Wubbba Wuubbaa) parts. It was so neat seeing that. We were sitting directly in front of Brett!!!! Interestingly, LB commented on the guitar issues they had been experiencing on the road and the for the last three shows his guitars had made up their minds to be out of tune.
GYOW - stunning
Waiting for Someone - shocked all of us and was played on the white Fender. He added enough reverb to make it sound like three guitars!!!!!
Down on Rodeo - stunning!!!!!!!
Bleed to Love Her - stunning!!!!!
Save Me a Place - mindblowing. I think we will never get that opportunity again. Hopefully, "they" will realize what a gem that was and let it make the final product!!!!!!!
After notes - Although only four people were on stage, I saw two extra keyboards off stage with people playing them. I though I also saw a guy playing a guitar offstage as well.
We now feel hungover although we did not consume a drop of alcohol!!!!! What a treat for us.

Ok, after reading this, and seeing that Lindsey's core group of backup guys are the guys from the Fleetwood Mac tour, he has NO EXCUSES for not changing the set list for the second leg of the tour.

I'm with you, chiliD, but I have a feeling that it's not his decision. I mean, if things were up to him, apparently we'd have a behind the scenes documentary and a somewhat varied setlist. Sigh.
As much as I'd rather have the Mac together than apart, all of this makes me hope for a solo Lindsey tour someday.

Also, while Stevie was on the stage and they were taking abreak while Ray was folling with LB's guitar, Stevie and LB were having a conversation. People were cheering, etc. I yelled, "speak into the mic.!!!!!" I do not know if they heard me - probebaly not, but they smiled after I yelled it. They seemed to enjoy that people were wondering what they were saying.
Also, I could swear LB smiled at me when I was singing along with him on Murrow - sort of like "Oh you know the words!!!!!" But, he probably was smiling in my general direction.

Stevie is always noticeably nervous when she makes a TV appearance ("If I sound like I'm shaking from the bottom of my toes... I am"), so that anxiety is most likely the culprit behind the "chill" people felt.
Not that I have first-hand experience in live performances, but I've been told, and have read, that it's often easier to perform in front of thousands of people, than it is for a couple hundred.
So it makes perfect sense that Stevie would come out and focus on looking at Lindsey, and singing the songs (which would be within her safety zone), rather than interacting too much with the audience (where her nervousness comes from).
Trust me, I know all about anxiety!

I think it's just that most people find it hard to believe that anyone who's been doin' this as long as Stevie and Lindsey wouldn't be nervous in front of folks.
Anxiety, yeah, I had it last night watching the Cowboys and Giants game. WOW, that game was INTENSE!!

Bette Midler, maybe?... who apparently still vomits right before every single performance, after decades in the business.
And Carly Simon's stage-fright is legendary.
One would think it would get easier over time, but apparently it doesn't always. :)

Joe,
I put the whole respect thing in there so I wouldn't get roasted by the Lindsey fans. I too would have liked to see Stevie do a little more. A few of her own songs, maybe some B/N stuff, harmonies on Peacekeeper, SYHA, GYOW. I feel that she was underused.
Stevie herself has said that Lindsey doesn't get the respect that he deserves. I was IMHO giving a reason why she looked so disinterested or bored.
I just don't want to open that Stevie vs Lindsey can of worms.

It wasn't her gig tho. This was Lindsey's thing and she was his special guest.
Sure, them doing Frozen Love, Races Are Run or Twisted even would've kicked BOOT-AY, but ah well.
This is as close to Storytellers with Lindsey Buckingham as we LB fans will get. Hee.

I give ANYONE credit for getting up in front of people to do ANYTHING. I took speech class in college and we videotaped our speeches to watch ourselves...talk about embarrassing. You don't notice the "tics" you do until you watch that tape (of shame) back.

Lindsey said a few times that since they are on tour they really did not have any time to rehearse this show.
I think the fact that he did RR, Murrow, Down on Rodeo, Trouble...basically any song that is NOT being played at the shows was somewhat daring. He probably hasn't thought about these songs too much since going on tour.
Then when he told the guys "Ok, let's just play it" before starting Save Me a Place, I thought man this guy has a great memory/talent...when was the last time he played that sucker?? However, asking him and Stevie to pull out BN tunes would probably be too much to ask...unless of course they made the decision ahead of time to play them and had at least some time to rehearse. I believe Stevie when she said "that's all I remember."
Thanks again to everyone for their more detailed reports....
sounds like a great night. I'm glad Lindsey finally got a "storytellers" type show of his very own :)

Can't be Bette, she feeds off the audience like it's her drug. Anyone who dreams of putting on a show, or someone who already does shows, should take a cue from her: pure dynamic onstage.
I still say that she is the best live performer in history. Absolutely phenomenal, Johnny!
Ever seen her?

Barbara
They were not at all surprised. In fact Lindsey was ready, IMO to give it a go. Stevie was very careful, though, that it was to be his show.
