And if no one knows

What do you think it should be?

Well if we are going Lindsey, stevie. Lindsey, Stevie??

Then I would suggest 'Come' as the next single for something completely different :D

my vote goes to "Thrown Down." It's catchy and has more of a "classic" FM sound that listeners would recognize.

or they should do what alot of other bands do and release a single not on the album and then re release the album, then the sales will do up once again

Thrown down would be a good choice, but a version more like the wall of sound version

would be my pick, too. Or Miranda w/ video (could be kinky, although not as (not) hot as Come.)

I say go with Come as the next single, and then have Thrown Down be the last single. I think Everybody Finds Out could be a dance hit as well.

I think it'll be Thrown Down. I'm absolutely in love with the song and I have a feeling the reason why they recorded what has become known as The Wall of Sound version was to possibly use that as the radio edit. Maybe they've had plans to release the song as a single all along?? Who knows? With Fleetwood Mac, anything is possible and expect the unexpected

I think that logically speaking, if there were going to be a third single, they would be performing that particular song on tour now. So that leaves the choices of what?

WTWCT
Come
Say Goodbye
Goodbye Baby

Of these 4, the only plausible chcice is WTWCT. Come is way too out there, Goodbye baby and Say Goodbye would never be hits in a million years.

Did you not learn anything from Whitney?! Crack is whack, man!

I don't think Come would do very well on radio; I think it would go over like a lead balloon. It's too weird and I can't imagine how they'd edit it. :)

After any major concert performed in Philadelphia, WMGK, our classic rock station, goes and plays the entire concert from start to finish (not the actual concert but all the songs from the show). So, yep. They played Come. It actually sounded pretty cool on the radio. The DJ was pretty stoked to be playing it..lol...

Crack IS whack, yo.

In terms of radio play, I think SYHA would be a good choice for adult contemp.
It's catchy, a great, recognizable Mac harmony. Total fluff, but I like it. It's not a song I'll be quoting with the band's best lyrics, but it's safe and pleasant enough to do well, just like Hold Me years ago.
With all the bad news in the world this year, fluffy lyrics on a pleasant sound could give people a needed escape.

Honestly, with Say You Will not getting much heat as a single (it's getting some, but I doubt what was expected), I don't think they'll release another single. It's sad, but I think these two are it. I'm sure more singles were in mind for Sheryl Crow's C'mon C'mon and Alanis's album, but their second singles didn't do too well (Steve McQueen and Precious Illusions respectively). So unfortunately, I think they'll just rely on the touring for the rest of the album's sales, and maybe hope for some grammy nods.

I would love to see Everybody finds out as the next single but I know that will probably not happen so I will say either Thrown Down, Steal Your Heart Away or Miranda

Sheryl did release a third single, but that didnt go anywhere either. It was the title track.

Her greatest hits comes out in Oct. The first single will be a remake of Rod Stewart's "The First Cut is the Deepest."

I think the next single will be off the NEXT album by FM or Stevie which ever is the case. I agree with Sorcerer386's sentiments about the touring to promote the album and the band hoping for some grammy nods, which isn't bad at all imo. I'd bet we'll see FM on tv in the not too distant future too and if we're lucky have a video of the SYW tour concert in our hands by Xmas!!! :D

I think that Not Make Believe would be a great single. I think it is really catchy and modern. It is from the bonus cd, but I'll asume it could still be a single. But what do I know.... I thought the song Say You Will would be #1 because it is so catchy, almost to a fault! I just really assumed that song would get much more airplay. It pretty much just peaked at #17 and has been there for weeks. Oh well.... Fleetwood Mac is not a radio friendly band for the most part. Christine was the real "radio queen"! I miss her!!!!

OMG-I was thinking the same about Not Make Beleive. That's exactly the song that might break them out of the sluggish/barely heard Adult Contemporary market and back into some top 40. The music is so good that you even overlook the most cliche lyrics in any SN song, ever!

Not Make Believe almost reminds me of Everyday, which did very well on the charts, so I really think they should release this as a single for pop radio- not as an adult contemp. song!
