One of the reasons I find Ms. Nicks so interesting is because she really comes up with some imagintive words and the way she puts things is unlike any other person I've heard. I mean, Lindsey, for example, never really changes what he says, he repeats and repeats the same things over and over......ala...cycles, painters...blah blah in every interview he does.

Anyway after listening to tons of interviews and reading tons of articles.........I've found that Stevie really has some said silly things.

So my question is......if you could ask Stevie one question based on what she has said in an interview/article what would you ask her? Or what are your favorite quotes by Ms. Nicks?

This is mine:
When you die, is your headstone really going to say "Nobody is that cute?" LOL!!!

I would ask...why haven't you responded to my marriage proposal yet. I'm joking of course, I think the 39 year difference in our ages might make it impossible.

I would HAVE to ask........

So.... Stevie, what exactly WAS it that Rupert Hine did that made it "impossible for you to ever be with him again?"

I have always wanted to know what was so heinous an infraction. Did he pass gas in public? Did he smack her? Did he knock up another woman?

After all, Lindsey has certainly done the last two things, yet she didn't divorce herself totally from him. And he has prabably done the first, too.........

So, what was it girl? Give it up!

She would totally tell me, too! LMAO!!

Speaking of Stevie saying silly things . . .

I love how she just makes crap up with singing. Primo example: SOTM on Mirage. I would pay good money to find out what the hell she is saying. And she does it twice at the end.

Id have to ask her "Does she get cravings for pizza like I do when she listens to Cecelia?" Also Id ask if she would mind me licking her eyeballs once?

Yah, I've heard her say it a few times actually. It's on the Jim Ladd Wildheart interview for one. They were talking about why she and the girls work so hard to sound good and write songs etc. and she's like "because nobody is that cute, you can't be cute forever." And then she goes into the headstone thing. Its so funny.

Here's another one of my favorites.

Playboy-July 1982
(what Stevie thinks she was in her past lives) "I think I spent alot of time in old churches. I'm very comfortable around that kind of music, with that kind of creeping around, with being very quiet. My ballet teacher believes that my head was cut off in another life, too. I totally give with my body except for my neck. Even if I go to the beauty salon, I can't put my head back. They have to hold it or it will drop. The same thing happens when I dance or get a massage. It's very weird."

LMAO!!

How about that 1970's-era piano version of Rhiannon...the one in which she speaks very spacey in the beginning. I'm speculating that she's addressing her piano player, because I hear her say

"Richard...We have to go to park and record, you know, the sound of birds...rising...you know...their rustling"

Ah, well, I have been told that Rupert Hine has a child whose age adds up to exactly right around the time the "incident" happened, so that might be it. I'm still mighty curious, though. I've got this nagging suspicion that he hit her.

As for Lindsey and passing gas, well he can always blame it on the guitar.

Out of morbid curiousity, could you elaborate?

Here's what Rupert said about making TOSOTM with Stevie:

Stevie Nicks has referred to The Other Side of the Mirror as her personal favourite of her solo albums. It was her biggest success in Europe to date. Recorded at her home in Los Angeles and at my "home" in England (Farmyard Studios), the album featured many songs co-written by Stevie and myself and a special magic emanated from the two of us.

Personally, I don't see what is so hilarious. Do you not believe this could be true?

I don't get any "Lala Land" from this! Stevie is playing piano here, and I've always taken it as: she is reapeating things she said to Lindsey and Richard Dashut about the way she wanted Rhiannon to be recorded and is answering back with the responses she would have liked to hear (as opposed to the ones she got).
Forgive me, but I think it's a bit rude to say that about something that was clearly very emotional for her.

No, I don't believe it. I've seen pictures of her with her head back. And I think its silly. Anyone want to post one?

I know what you mean...Mirage cover, etc, etc, but it doesn't mean is doesn't scare her to do it. Sounds like you just have different "beliefs".
