I'm sorry, maybe I was spoiled by the demo. "Smile At You" blows. Sorry.

 Kidding.

Red Rover is gone. :( NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I vote for SYW...the title track is too repetitive and I prefer the radio version if I had to choose.

Come--sorry Lindsey, but it so rocks live...when I can actually listen to and appreciate your vocals.... :)

I still like SYW, but I like the radio version better, too--I love when, after LB's guitar solo, they take out the drums and then kick them back in--I think even that minor adjustment alone makes the song so much better than it already is...

Draggy and repetitive. But, I have to say the radio mix zips it up a lot.

LOL!

I just find this song soooooo cloying. After the first few listens, it started to grate on my nerves. I hate the vocal on the first verse with a passion and Lindsey's backing vocals are soooo monotone throughout the song; it leaves me dry. I much prefer the Wall of Sound version. That one had better music, albeit a bit muddled, and the vocals were absolutely fabulous. Stevie tore it up and Lindsey lit the song on fire at the end.

Also, when I listen to the album version, it sounds like it was heavily edited to keep it at four minutes. It's too rushed.

Just my thoughts! :D

Well, I dont know whats worse: taking a great song and ruining it, ("Smile at You"), taking a so-so song and not doing anything new to it, ("Running Through the Garden"), or thinking that a piece of bombastic garbage like "Come" is the centerpiece of any album.

Hmmm...

I'm going for "Come". Dirty inneundo cannot hide an awful song!
Bye "Come"!

Murrow. "MASCE?" What the heck? Lindsey's "stream-of-consciousness" explanation is a copout. He just couldn't think of any lyrics to fit there!

Oh Man I LOVE Running Through the Garden and Smile at You and Come. In fact the only songs on my chopping block are:.

Miranda.
Say Goodbye.
Goodbye Baby.
.
And I'm going to go for MIRANDA, it's awfully repetitive and annoying.

I was JUST thinking this the other day....either people LOVE it or HATE it!! There's really no in-between.

The reason I love it so much is because of certain guitar notes he plays that you REALLY have to listen to the song to hear (I think). Also, his vocals just SOAR on the song, it's a VERY passionately sung song. I still stick by my theory of this song being for his mom in telling her it's okay to grieve for her husband. :(

Of course, Lindsey says it has to do with Greek gods, so who knows.

LOL

BTW, I think this certain poll was supposed to end on Friday, right? LOL
