I think it would be a cool idea if we all dug out some interesting Stevie Photo's we may have and share them with each other. There are SOOOOO many out there, I bet we could come up with some that very few have seen before. I will start. Please everyone keep adding to this thread and let's see what comes up!

What a day, what a day!! (March 18, 1978, to be more specific :laugh: )

Some solo acoustic guy (whose name I've obviously forgotten) actually started the day at 9am. Bob Welch followed him, then Heart, then Santana, then Dave Mason, then Ted Nugent, then Foreigner, then Aerosmith, and finally Rubiycon. Whew!!

And, fast forward a quarter of a century...

And when I said that her voice was at her apex, I meant that it was at her best...the Rumours tour was the beginning of the downhill slide. But now rereading my posts, I think I read the dates wrong and thought that pic was taken after the White Album. My apologies for messing up! LOL :)

I love how they looked during that time period! Stevie looks wicked young and not so "made up" for the stage (no chiffon, no makeup, etc). Chris looks a little older than she really is...never could figure that out.

I found this one on the stevie nicks underground recently, i believe. people may have seen it before but it was new to me. it looks to be from the BN days and it just made me laugh cause I thought, wow, if SN and LB had ever had kids, they would have had like the biggest afros ever! :laugh: :laugh:

LOL Ive spent a lot of money on ink, photo paper, and a damn nice photo quality printer. Quite a few were given to me by a fan in the news media many years ago. Many are from old abandon sites, links from those sites, and searching the internet like crazy when I was a drunk jobless loser living off my parents. You would be suprised where Stevie portraits, and candid photos pop up. A few are the size of a book of matches. Others are I'll say 4X6, and larger. Some are huge. LOL Collecting Stevie photos became an obsession, but its been fun. I have them mounted in acid free sleeves, and keep them in 4 seperate bursting at the seams books. Im working on a book #5 which includes what I consider Stevie's best stage photos, and quality artwork by the fans. Oh, I found an interesting site the other day. It came up while searching (stevie nicks and comics) Fillies.com? This guy sells a CD with 1,400 some photos for $12. From looking at some of the tiny .jpg's it looks like he has a few I havnt seen? A lot of fuzzy video shots on the CD though. Dont hold your breath on me posting any in the next few weeks. Sorry! Im just very busy with work, and wanted to reply so your not waiting.......Mark

I have a ton, but they are mostly just in files. I have many originals on photo paper also. (I am only up to #3 in binders) I have been waiting to get a highend printer because I know what will happen. (I will need 1000 ink cartriges and many tress will fall for the paper. LOL)

Yes, that's me standing next to her. You know, some people who saw that picture were going:"OMG, she gained so much weight, she looks like Elvis right before he died". I totally disagreed with them. I totally agree with you: she looks nice & happy and was having a great time. She loved the fact that all the fans were waiting for her at the hotel and was actually sort of surprised people recognised her LOL. She didn't have much time though because the German press was inside the hotel waiting, but luckily I had the guts to ask her to have her picture taken with me. When I asked her that, she was going:"Sure, no problem but make it quick though. I have another press conference". She alreasdy had one in the afternoon. But she was gracious enough to pose with me. Hopefully I'll have another chance in this lifetime LOL

Stevie, Lori, Chris and Jessica share a house--it's divided by a kitchen (so I assume they share that) but I know that they each have a wing to themselves. Stevie's probably has bedrooms and living areas (so she can entertain or whatever) and Chris' family has their own living area on their side w/ bedrooms of course.

Stevie was quoted either during Enchanted or the Dance tour as saying something like, I have a niece who's six and she is the closest thing to a child in my life.

I bet they are pretty close, but for some reason I can't see Stevie having tea parties and playing Barbies with Jessica!!!

And that pic with Stevie and the piano, did she always dress in those HUGE dresses? Where's the real clothes? Or was that just for a photo shoot?

I have 5 picked out, and will post more as time allows. I dont claim to have photos never seen before. I just started buying a few, and then a bunch were given to me. I got hooked, and being the perfectionist I am, it carried into some pretty extensive searching on the net for years. Ive been through 3 printers, and god only knows how many ink cartridges, and packs of photo paper. LOL. Its funny, but I started out getting drunk, and searching. Then I got sober, and the searching was used to keep me busy. I owe a large thanks to my dad for purchasing a computer when they hit the market, and the photographers for clickity clicking away. What I want to know is..... When you find a good portrait. Where are all the other shots that were taken during that session? I know theres probably thousands more in shoe boxes burried away in somebodys closet. SHEESH!....Mark

Well I scanned 6 pics on my neighbors huge piece of junk scanner, and have tried every way possible to resize them, and attach them to this post. No luck. I know I'm chiming in late, but I love this last one. It really must be one of their first FM shows, because Lindsey is playing the black Stratocaster which he later had to switch out for the white Les Paul. right? He said his BN guitar was too "tinny" sounding with the band.

I think I got the names of the guitars right, but I know his black one is his BN era guitar, and the white one came later, then of course the Turner in 1980.

Stevie's boots are also, um... not quite there yet, either, are they?

She looks so cute solely because she is Stevie, and her hair is to die for, but she really does look like she is wearing a bathrobe and pajamas.

Wednesday, I'll tell you how one of my aunts used to straighten her har back then....

She would pull it all up in a pony tail on the top of her head, then divide the pony tail into four sections, north, south, east and west, then she would roll the sections up on coke cans with the tops and bottoms cut off. She would sleep like that every night.
Wierd, huh? I knew I better not touch her coke cans if I knew what was good for me!

Mostly I think girls just used really big rollers to get the straight look.

Well folks. I have a 6 more pics scanned, and tried posting them here, but NOT. I added them to my Yahoo album with the others. They show up smaller then the scan, but if you have a Yahoo account you can sign in, and click to see them full page. If not I got some cheese here for your whine. LOL My problem with posting pics here is due to settings I changed in my browser. I disabled a few things in my I.E. 6 for security reasons. you know, i've seen this picture many times before by itself... but seeing it on its original page with all the other kids... dude... stevie looks like the one kid you feel sorry for when the yearbooks come out cause he/she accidently looked the other way- or blinked, or had a face twitch or something... and you know when you get your yearbooks the last week of school and start flipping through seeing everyone's pictures- and you come across one kid who really messed up their picture and you all start laughing and go to the person sitting next to you in homeroom "hey look at Stephanie on page 98! doesn't she look funny!!??" yeah... poor stevie... i guess she got the last laugh though right!!?? lol

i'm editing this now... and i've been thinking... if you look at the whole page, she really messes up the flow- everyone is turning slightly to their left... and stevie is turning to her right a bit... and what really made me chuckle about this is that stevie almost always is photographed like this today- i hardly ever see a picture of her moved slightly to her left- she's always slightly to her right... and i've heard her say in interviews that she has one side she prefers to be photographed on more than the other... so who the hell knows... maybe she was starting that early on!!??

I dunno... I think Stevie looks reasonably cool in her high school pic. I feel worse for Gary Niles! :laugh:

It is funny though, how every single person is facing either straight on, or slightly towards their left... except Stevie.
But then, she's always stood out in a crowd. :)


By the way... this would make a fun thread for the Chit-Chat Forum... post your senior pics! For those of us who graduated more than a few years ago, it would definitely be a lesson in humility! :laugh:

Stevie only shows up on one page out of 270. (she is on page 212 for those keeping score at home) Unlike her senior book from the bay area, where the Buckingham/Nicks combo is on many pages. I looked in the backgrounds of the candid shots and didn't see her in any others. Plus in the back they only list the one page. See what a year will do? hehe

what a great idea! I have soooo many photos (just one pic folder is 57 mb - and this puter is old!) on my hard drive that my computer is one day gonna explode and spew them forth everywhere! seriously, I just started collecting and went completely crazy and now after a few yrs it moves like a dead snail...

it takes me forever just to read these boards, which is one reason I don't get over to this section much! so I would love to show some of what I have... and I have tons of strange ones!!!
I love to collect pics of Stevie 1)in pants or jeans 2)miniskirts, and the real find: 3)playing guitar!
