hey guys,
i was just wondering if you guys had any memorable stevie or fleetwood mac moments from in concert or on t.v. to share? i have a couple. from seeing them in concert only once, the most memorable thing would have to be the playfulness during "tusk" between stevie and lindsey and of course mick's drum solo. also stevie said at the end of the show, which was in chicago, that "we have been here three weeks and let me tell you guys, i have fallen in love with chicago. you guys have a great city." on t.v., i would have to say stevie with the fish on VH1 all access was pretty funny! does anyone have any memorable moments, hopefully better than mine, to share?

Well, I guess mine would have to be when I saw Stevie in Albuquerque during the TISL tour. It began to rain right before the first song, then continued through the entire concert pretty much.
She was so cute with it! She had a little umbrella...and then some guy came out to the stage and whispered something to her, and she was like, "I've just been told not to touch anything..." haha...then she like said how she couldn't believe we were all standing out in the rain to see her, and then she was like, "Well, sometimes it just rains." And she sang dreams....totally amazing!!! It was just such an amazing night...I didn't even care that I looked like a drowned poodle....

My most memorable Stevie moment would have to be when I saw her in Philadelphia for the Rock A Little tour. Now I was sitting pretty far away, so It's possible what I saw isn't what happened (it happened so fast), but I'll tell this as I remember it. It was at the end of "Edge of Seventeen" when Stevie walks around touching everyone's hands. So everyone is reaching up to her; there's all these arms extended up towards Stevie. Some guy from behind them all takes a little run and leaps up onto all these arms and is reaching towards Stevie. Stevie then basically smacks this guy across the head and he rolls off! I remember standing there like, "Whoa!" Go Stevie!

...to see a dress rehearsal in LA this past spring. I will never be able to forget standing at about 3rd row in front of Stevie with my mouth hanging open in awe over her beauty (physical and vocal!) I could not believe I was, like, 15 feet away from her - WOW! At one point I had moved across the studio (it was really like a big warehouse), turned around & saw Lindsey's 50 foot shadow projected (unintentionally) on the far wall as he played "Come" -what a vision! The icing on the cake was when I heard Stevie say "this is a song about a poison garden." I feel so lucky to have heard that song for the first time live. Paula

Without a doubt, my 2nd row concert seat in Pittsburgh for this tour. I was right in front of Stevie - hell of a seat for my first Mac concert!
I have never been so blown away before . . .

No moment for me, onstage, on photo, in video or CD... could compare to when I met Stevie. It was breif, but its a moment I will never forget when she and i were comparing our common name!

A close runner-up is being backstage after her 10/01 TISL tour closer (looking @ a photo of them all onstage about to take a bow that Id taken thats pinned on my cubical @ work). I got to meet Mick, John, 99% of the band including Sharon & Mindy, and Sheryl Crow. Still have Lindsey to meet. That may happen. But I highly doubt Ill ever meet the Songbird.

Actually yes I did get it on audio. I searched for a year to find it too. I play it for anyone who will listen:)
To make a very long story short...I had met and hung out with Frank Simes at the Enchanted show in Birmingham....met him and the rest of the band at the hotel restaurant before the show. We ended up buying the table (Stevie's band) a bottle of wine. It was so embarrassing. But my friend insisted we do it...well it paid off.
A group of us were going to the show in Nashville a couple of weeks later and he got us tickets and backstage passes....he was real nice. Anyway when it came time to sing Landslide there wasn't anyone in the audience she knew to dedicate it to so she got Frank to go into the audience to pick someone....and he came to me. He goes back and tells her my name....and she's like...this is dedicated to Anna  and after the song she said Thank you Anna and everyone!! I almost died. I still almost die everytime I listen to it. That's my Stevie story....

My moment happened just last week at the OKC show. Right after Good-Bye baby I was able to briefly talk to LB and he signed my ticket stub and then Stevie was walking off stage I said (yelled) her name and when she turned around I told her how much I love her and thank you for her songs because they saved my life. She walked towards me and I was crying like a baby. She took my hand and said she loved me too. I have too say that I still get chills just thinking about it. To tell her thank you means so much to me. She has sacrificed so much to bring us her music and I wanted her to know that we love her for it. Never in a million years did I ever think I would have one second of her time. That moment topped off the perfect show. Also, the guy standing next too me was a huge Mick fan and Mick gave him his drumsticks from that night. It wasn't a dream ~ it was a dream come true.

one's would be seeing Stevie having fun at the OKC show...She was way into the show & enjoying herself.
Another would be on the video I just received of the 5/25/03 East Rutherford, NJ show were the audience sings "Happy Birthday" to Stevie after "Landslide" and she is very appreciative of the crowd and let's em know it!!!
