How times have changed...

This is a quote from a article in People Magazine I found about Stevie from 1981:


She lives in a modest two-bedroom condo in Marina del Rey. "I don't need jillions more dollars," she explains. "I've got enough wonderful clothes and boots, two Yorkies, a baby Doberman, two cars and a terrific family. I just need to have some fun."


I know it was more than 20 years ago but I wonder if Stevie still feels this way? I'd like to think she does despite all the stuff that is going on...

I think she feels this way about the clothes, still. Her wardrobe (at least in concert) is certainly less adventurous these days. She's gotten more simple.
I don't know about the having fun part. Her days of rockin' a little are gone. Now I think she'd say that all she needs is to write and paint (since she still has the family and things).
