Does anyone know what the best recorded show from this tour
is so far?..in terms of video and sound.

In terms of sound, my favorite is the Buffalo ALD recording, but I've heard a few people say that they're not that fond of it; some people prefer the crowd noise because it makes them feel like they're at the show, I guess.
As far as videos, I've only seen the DC one, and I was very impressed with it. You tapers are doing a wonderful job! :)

I got in a copy of the Worcester MA show from 5/27 and the sound quality is pretty good IMO. Not a lot of audience interference.

the best sounding audio recordings:
5/9/03-Washington, DC
5/15/03-Buffalo, NY
6/1/03-Greenville, SC
The best videos (For visual & audio):
5/9/03-Washington, DC
There are other cd's/videos available but I'm picking from the ones that I currently have...

I'm fine with the Colombus show, but the crowd can sometimes overshadow the music, like in Never Going Back Again. The bass drum is also too "thick" and it gets in the way of the rest of the music.
Pittsburg is good too.

I totally agree. I actually like Pittsburgh better - the crowd noise is more of a background "addition", instead of a distraction.

That guy was kind of funny though...."YAHHHHH-it is never going back again!" "I could name that tune in one note!"
Someone also at the beginning is singing the guitar part. And for that matter...I would love to e-mail that person and be like...do you know that you were recorded...how bout shuttin' up and enjoying the show!?"
As for Buffalo...so far what I have is enjoyable, but whatever those funky voices are on Peackeeper...they scare me!

...is the BEST show I've heard so far. WOW - awesome quality, you can hear every little giggle & comment from the band. I love it!
The Albany video is pretty good (head to toe screen shots for the close-ups - very nice, not shaky)

i am sure there may be a better place to write this reply, but i am: a) new here, and b)- on a painstakingly slow and limited laptop- but this thread of 'best bootleg' got me thinking about my funniest Stevie/Mac bootleg, and one is a Stevie Kansas City concert audio cassette from the 'Enchanted Tour' and near the end, Stevie is singing 'Landslide' and a girl in the audience (very near to whoever recorded the show!) is getting increasingly irritated that people by her are singing along and says 'shut up' quietly once or twice, and then when Stevie sings the long "snooowww" note near the end of 'Landslide', the girl gets REALLY ticked and YELLS "shut up!!!" but it really sounds like she's yelling 'shut up' to Stevie and not the off-key guy singing along!! it just strikes me really funny every time i play it...

I have one from the TISL tour where some girl loudly slurs "aquamarine" after Stevie sings it on Bombay Sapphires. Now I can't help but think of her every time I hear the song, LOL.

but the audio portion is making the round in trading circulation. I rate it a "B/B+" quality recording...
At last count there are at least 17 SYW shows already in circulation...
