Actually it's two questions but heres the first. In that once scene where it looked as though Lindsey was wiping his eyes he said something to the effect of "you don't know how really wonderful" or something like that. Was he upset over something and being sarcastic?

I got the impression this was when he heard Illume and cried like he or someone said he did in a prior interview. I, however, have nothing to back this up with

Oh my second question was, that since Lindsey wanted the docu crew there and there was only a little bit of footage used I'm assuming that there's going to be a DVD or something on the making of this album as it seems wastefull to have a crew there for a year to edit it down to only 4 or 5 minutes of footage.

They said they were - now we just have to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait

I think that he is expressing feeling full for the whole thing, the song, being able to perform with the band again, etc. And, I think it is real cause the video is more of a quality that would be a hidden camera, not a camera man standing there doing it so it seems to have captured a private moment. And, Stevie looks like she is struggling as well...she has to look off. :(

I'm a little surprised he let VH1 use that footage. In some interviews Lindsey talks like he's against milking the relationship drama, but isn't it HIS documentary they got the film from? Guess a few tears in the right place, at the right moment, don't hurt. I think it was a genuine moment, but showing it proves to me they know it's worth it's weight in gold, publicity wise. Same goes for all Stevie's comments about the friction. I'm sure there was a lot more footage they could have used showing the whole record making process, but as usual we have the drama! Ka-ching! $$

Well I'm glad they'll be a longer documentary on it as it should be really interesting to see it.

Why would he not let VH1 use the footage?? It was a perfect opportunity to let fans know there's more and this band isn't finished yet....I mean, we all have been bitching that we aren't getting enough, right?? We're obviously all going to see it soon anyway if he recorded it as a documentary on the making of the album so why not use some snippets from it. The show is called ALL ACCESS after all. I mean no disrespect to you but I have to disagree with your comments about the tears in the right place at the right moment. Why is it so difficult for people to believe that the emotions are real? Despite the fact that they are "celebrities" (which we have essentially made them out to be in buying their records, supporting their careers etc.) they are real people with real emotions and when they get cut, they bleed just as we do. I don't see why people feel they are acting or playing it up for the camera or doing it for publicity. As Lindsey even says, he has known Stevie since he's been 16. He's still working with her now. I mean, that's a looong time. They've been together through so much that you can't really just dismiss it. Old crap is going to get rehased and yes, there is going to be new drama. Regardless of whether or not there had been a camera crew there, i'm certain that the outcome of this new album and the raw emotions would have been the same. Fleetwood Mac has never been a band comprised of a bunch of publicity whores. Why start now? And Lindsey is perhaps the wealthiest member of the band Fleetwood Mac because he serves as both musician and producer. There's no need for him to make a documentary for monetary purposes and don't forget, his name is Lindsey Buckingham, not Mick Fleetwood. He even said part of the reason he wanted to document the making of the album was to humanize the band and I think he's accomplished just that.
