Washington DC DVD Problem...be Careful...not received

Just a note of warning regarding the person selling the Washington DC DVD/video named Todd Davey. I paid for this dvd and have not had any communication nor have I received my dvd...and I paid $38.50. So, IF this person sends me the dvd, or if he contacts me with a mailing date, I will post an update, but, for now, BE CAREFUL and do not order this dvd. I am concerned about this. If he is gonna advertise here to sell to us, then I am gonna advertise that he is not delivering..

Well, I ordered this DVD off of Ebay from him. Todd did contact me and I sent the check right away. Hopefully, there won't be any problems.

I too have yet to receive my DVD from Todd. I've e-mailed him twice and he did e-mail me back saying that he had been away and that he had to get all of the orders together. I had sent him the money next day using bidpay which evidently has something to do with Western Union. Now, If it does not come within the week or I do not hear from him, I'm going to be mighty pissed off because he was sent the money quite some time ago. I feel like i'm getting shafted here. I guess that's what I get for having bought a bootleg show :confused:

I did finally get a response from him today and says that he is shipping a lot of them tomorrow...will let you know if I get mine and all about the quality.

Hi! This is Todd! I received ALOT of interest in a short time and it is a bit overwhelming. I didn't expect them to all come at once. Anyway, I am sending quite a bit tomorrow and every day after that. You will get your videos promptly and soon. Also, just to let you know I just got (right from the filmers) digital clones of the Philadelphia show. It is off of the screen but it looks GREAT. The audio is great and I hate to say it but it's better than the DCD video. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that the videos are on the way and please don't worry. Hi...I did get my dvd and the quality is very good..there is some movement, but, the clarity is what you see in the stills. It was good enough that I bought the other four that he had to sell from him, so if that tells you anything..haha. :nod: :nod:

Yea, I got mine from him the other day. It's pretty good! Unfortunately, I'm saving money right now so I can buy a laptop and get rid of this crappy circa 1997 Gateway so I can't buy anymore right now. However, i'm willing to trade with people who might come across the rest. The only other one i'll break down and buy will be Atlantic City when he tells me he gets that one :nod:

That is not cool...he has posted more to the Ledge for sale today...ask him in that thread about it. I will let you guys know if and when I get mine. I have a problem with anyone continuing to sell something if they are not providing what they have already sold, you know? Todd is a really nice guy so if you post it here, maybe he will see it if he missed your emails...good luck!!

I want to say another thing about this video and quality. It moves around a bit, but, I purchased the Greenville one from someone else and it is not half the quality of Todd's. The filmer of the Greenville show is in the total nosebleeds, he is obviously not a fan, who would put the camera on Lindsey and Mick all during Rhiannon? He does not adjust the light filter on his camera so you cannot make out if Stevie has a nose or mouth, and the film cuts off 2/3 way through "Say Goodbye" and comes back on after it is over...sigh...and it is on two discs, to have better quality..whatever. It does get better when he switches to the screen for the rest of it. Todds is compressed to one and looks and sounds so much better.

I have the DC DVD and the quality is really good. It's better than any of the other bootlegs I have traded for in the past.

Glad to hear it's a good buy. I bought it a while ago and was getting a little antsy, but I'll not worry about it anymore.
