I apologize if this is old news, but the latest fan club e-mail reports this about the next single:

"In the afternoon, the band got together to listen to perspective remixes of the radio single for "Say You Will". This is the second single being released by the label. Everyone provided input and made suggestions about the mixes. The review was sent back to Warner Bros. Records."

I know we all were pretty sure about this, but now it's "official."

At least, if we can believe what the fan club reports . . .

What's even better is they remixed it. I wonder if we'll get a maxi single or better yet- an unreleased b side?

Yes--the remixing statement has me intrigued. Now, I wonder when this will hit the airwaves?

Yes, this a great opportunity to release -- as a "b-sides" -- at least one of the songs cut from the album. But of course, that would be too logical. Please the fans? There always seems to be a rationale why that can't happen.

Why wasn't Peacekeeper released to the public as a single? Yet, I see artists such as Madonna get singles released as soon as the album is, and sometimes beforehand. What kind marketing criteria decides that Madonna (whose career is on the wane, thankfully) gets a single and Fleetwood Mac doesn't?

I think a maxi-single for SYW would be great, but I, for some reason, don't see it happening. And what I really want is a REAL video for this one. And PenguinHead, it's comments like that that only make Madonna stronger. She has more than proven herself over the past twenty years...

I think it has something to do with that fact that Madonna is still considered a "dance" artist to a certain degree so people will want, or maybe prefer to hear a billion remixes on the single, whereas "dinosaur bands" (I hate that term but it is kinda true) hardly ever put out singles, for whatever reason, maybe cause they know their fans have the money for the album?

Not to go off topic, but I LOVE that quote in your signature Bootylicious. Where can I get that whole interview?
