View Full Version : Atlantic City Was *amazing*

Okay, now ya'll read my DC review and let me just begin by saying that Atlantic City surpassed that show. I was sitting in row 2, section 6 and the seats weren't bad at all. By the end of the show, we were able to move up to section 2, row 12. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! A woman in front of me and 2 men behind me proceeded to stand on the chair for Goodbye Baby. I jumped right on up there. It was truly unreal. A lot of people had left so I didn't feel too bad about doing it. I made direct eye contact with Lindsey and Stevie. Holy crap..I could have died. Eventually, people came over and told us to get down. The two of them (Stevie and Lindsey) kind of looked as if to say, why make them get down? I did manage to take pictures once again and as soon as I get them developed, you lovely people will see them first.

As far as the show goes, this was a Stevie night for sure. She kicked some serious ass. Lindsey was AMAZING as usual and his solos were outstanding. He received several standing ovations. Second Hand News rocked but I did miss Destiny Rules. I wish they would replace it with something else.

And let me just tell you...Landslide...WOAH. At the end of the song, Lindsey hugged Stevie, kissed her on the head and as she went to walk away (Lindsey still had her hand), he pulled her back to him and kissed her passionately on the mouth. WOAH. We all freaked. Mrs. B....you better get that leesh out woman!!! It was totally insane...Stevie wasn't even sure what was going on. She looked pretty stunned. It was nuts. The rest of the show was flawless and I'd have to say they were ON the entire time. Very upbeat, very thankful that we were all there and incredibly humble.

And for those who are still wondering...oh my god...yea, I still can't deal....lol

If there is ANY show that needs to be released on DVD or video...it's this one FOR SURE.

Oh, and Janet and your crusty dance shirt :-P GOOD TO MEET YA!! We should meet up again at Philly!

I'd write a better review but i'm incoherent because of the current state of Fleetwood Macness....i'm still floored by that kiss... i think Stevie probably is too! LOL

Yeah the show was great.

I met Marissa and Ali and their friend and I was happy to meet them.

We got in at AC at 5...we found a place to eat and waited an hour to get a terrible sandwich, and we had a drink. Then we got to the venue at 7:30ish and I was screaming like an idiot, but I was so excited and nervous I couldn't help myself.

Then I met the girls as we got a drink.

Our seats were NOT as good as Marissa's were but they were ok...well, no. I was practically nosebleed and I couldn't see them, but it was still cool just to be there. The magic of the music was just so powerful, it could be felt from way back where I was.

They sound wonderful, they really do.

I missed the kiss, I saw something but I didn't see this. I did see, however, during TUSK when he leaned on her SOTM style ( from Mirage) so that was really cool.

THEY BETTER DO ALL THIS IN PHILLY because I'll be close for that one.

I am so sad, because my FM experience is almost over. I just want to see every single show because I really love that band. I kept screaming that but they couldn't hear me, even though my neighbors sure could.

I told Marissa me and my friend were hard to miss, not because of anything physical , but just because we are quite loud when it comes to things like this. The people around us must have been quite annoyed but when Lindsey would go into a guitar solo it was just insane how we felt, because he really is amazing. HE WAS WEARING A WHITE T SHIRT...sexy stuff.

Stevie sounded so wonderful, she really did. She looked good from way back far and she got an amazing response , she really did.

Surprisingly, so did Lindsey too. After ISA, people really cheered him on and after GYOW, they did as well.

I wish I could be taken back in time and just jumped into front row, but I can't. I wish I had seen that kiss too, I just didn't see that( hmph!) , the same thing happened in 97 in AC and I guess its just the place.

I didn't know where they would go, so no stalking mission for me. WE just left and now Im off to bed to have FM dreams ALL night!

WHAT A MAGICAL NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See ya in Philly!

OH MY GOD!! This show sounds awesome just from the kiss part! What is up with that? Do you think they just got caught up in the emotions?
I think each show they are getting better and better from what I am reading. I have GOT to get to another show.....wonder how far it is from Columbus to Nashville? lol
Thanks for the review and can't wait to see the pics!

My usual question...how was attendance in Atlantic City? Did the place appear full?

I am attempting to keep track on how tickets are moving...

Thanks!

Wonder where Mrs. Buckingham was when that kiss happened? I know if he was mine I'd have him sign a no-lips on Stevie clause in his touring contract!!!

OMG!
I would have DIED had I seen that kiss! I'm just freaking out over here READING about it...seeing it would have made me insane! The crowd went wild in Columbus when Stevie took Lindsey's face in her hands and kissed him on the mouth so I can only IMAGINE how they must have reacted to a passionate kiss coming from Lindsey!

PLEASE say someone has video or pics of this!!!

Hey, I guess the gambling mood of the town hit Lindsey.
Maybe it was a dare?:)

I arrived in Philly yesterday & cannot wait for Monday nght. Your review was great.

What is it with casual fans? They just don't get the devotion some of us have to this band. Here's a story. My brother and I are taking our Mom to the concert for Mother's Day. (His girlfriend is coming, too. Mine is back in Austin, which is good: I don't have to argue over who gets the fourth ticket the pre-sale allowed.)
Last night my brother mentioned that he just isn't sure that he'll be home from work in time to get us to the concert by 8:00.
For a moment, there was **** flying out of my ears, as I had bought his ticket on the condition that he drive. (I have no car here, & Mom has a leg injury.)
He acted like it was no big deal to get there a few songs into the concert.
I went thru that for the Dance concert in Camden, when traffic was horrible.
I went thru that for Street Angel in Chicago, when two friends took the car and went for ice cream when we should have been on the way to the venue. (Actually, we did get there on time for that one, but only because I laid the guilt on so big that my friend got a speeding ticket on the way.)
NOT again.
I told my brother if he's not home at 5:30, our cousin (who's begging to go) will be happy to take the ticket, so no hard feelings.
His girlfriend thinks I'm being petty.
His girlfriend, bless her heart, can go pound sand. :)

I am NOT going to stress about getting there on time.
This is not negotiable for a Fleetwood Mac concert. (Especially when I paid for all the tickets!)

Monday night will be great, Monday night will be great, Monday night will be great...

There was a mouth kiss in Pittsburgh too, but not nearly as cool as what you described in your review! It was more of just a peck on the lips, and he didn't grab her or anything. I'm glad to hear they're getting into it again!

I know they were at the Columbus show. There were signs on the doors saying that by entering the arena you gave VH1 full rights to use your image.

Okay, I just wanna see if I understand this correctly.... you guys actually want LB to be unfaithful to his wife? What the ....... !?!

lol, KathyD, I don't think any of us "SnL romantics" want Lindsey to be unfaithful to his wife. We just believe that he belongs with Stevie, and she with him. Nothing to do with his wife. Nothing at all. :)

If only they could just work it out! :D

This is what I keep telling myself after I jump for joy over the thought of him kissing Stevie like that.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I'm going to hell...b/c damnit if they're not cute together! I'm so jealous of those who actually got to see it. It'll probably not happen again. At least if wifey has something to say about it.

Then again, maybe she's actually cool with it.........

To be honest, I always preferred Stevie and Don or Stevie & Waddy.
I know Don's married, & that puts him out of the running as far as I'm concerned.
I don't know if Waddy is.
I'm hoping that as far as Lindsey is concerned, Stevie holds true to her 1997 words "Over my dead body!"
But to be honest, I'm not sure she would turn him down if he and his wife broke up and Stevie perceived him as being nice to her for four days in a row.
