That photo is part of the poster that came with the "freebie poster" when you pre-ordered SYW from FM directly via mail order. They have one photo of each of the 4 in each corner, Stevie is lower R, along with their signature (printed). In the middle they have a photo of the 4 faces with the black backdrop.

The poster itself is crap, I could have done a better print job and on better paper than they did. I was way dissapointed in it. I went out and got the LE afterwards so I could have that higher quality poster (different design) & cooler inserts.

I keep thinking Sharon Stone/"Basic Instinct". ;)
NOT the typical Stevie pose.

Roll your tongue back up. She's seemingly got panties on. :D

There's nothing uglier than a less-than-authentic smile.

I love it when someone dignifies their emotions to the extent that they won't cover them up.

Honestly, I think she is sitting in this pose with her gut held in with all her might. I'm not saying she has a big gut at all, but when you sit like that, something is gonna fall over. She's sucking in her breath big time, and she's menopausal. I doubt she really felt like smiling, and who can blame her. It's a credit to the way she was raised that she isn't lifting her well-manicured bird to the photographer.

(Also, I think a 30-year-old woman can get away with that sullen expression a lot more easily in a photograph. At 54, the eyes are sagging a bit more, which increases the impression of boredom.
That expression is probably old habit to her.)

It is soooo Courtney Love! Ick! If I wasn't already gay, I think this picture would make me so!

She looks so miserable.
SHe looks like she had one too many and is suffering a wicked hangover.
Definitely not a very flattering picture of Stevie.

What does "she's menopausal" have to do with anything?

I'm perimenopausal, and if I was having my picture taken to be splashed all over the place, I'd want it to be a good picture.

Jeez, every time somebody posts something about her being menopausal, I cringe. It doesn't make you stupid!

I agree that the expression is habit to Stevie. It isn't menopause. And I really don't think she should sit like that at 54. I'm getting mixed messages. First the grandma sweater, now the definitely NOT grandma pose. Stevie, girl, make up your mind which way you're goin', I can't keep up! :D

I've heard women say menopause is wonderful, the "change" is great, but it's not. It sucks. It forces you to make a choice — whether you want to get old or you want to stay young.

So I guess that explains the mixed messages!

As I wrote in the next sentence, she might not have felt like smiling. She DID say in a recent interview that menopause sucks.
If she thinks it sucks, and it's on her mind, that might be one reason why she's not smiling.
I am not implying that menopause makes any person stupid. But if she's going to use unusually strong language to describe the experience, I'm going to conclude that she has unusually strong opinions regarding it.
