"Albatross" in at #43

This last Saturday afternoon on Radio 2, Richard Allinson went through the Top 50 favourite UK No 1s (as voted for by Radio 2 listeners). A really interesting programme.

Albatross was #43. Thought it might have done a wee bit better than that! But I suppose at least it did make the Top 50!

Most of them were from the 60s and 70s, a few from the 80s and the two most "modern" ones were Oasis "Don't Look Back In Anger" and Kylie's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". The No 1 was ... (no prizes for guessing! ) ... Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"!
